“The guys cooking really know what they are doing fun to watch! Cooking behind the bar is a great concept, smash burgers are the best along with their homemade potato chips and the broccoli slaw! “What a friendly neighborhood bar. Clean and pretty comfortable. Ok selection of drinks.But the food!!!!!The wings and some of the best around and the other food looked great as well.Huge wings...my finger was trying to show size. They were meaty but not greasy or drowning in sauce. Perfect.“
“I’ve heard they have a reputation for good burgers, so the kiddo and I drove an hour to check them out. Well, we can confirm the burgers were fantastic as was the server/service! “I LOVE walking into a bar in the afternoon when it's light out and the conversations have already started in the welcoming atmosphere. Spinning the wheel, ice cold beer, attentive bartender and clean surfaces make the DBR an awesome stop for happy hour. I've also attended live music in the backyard when the weather's a bit more cooperative. Overall a great roadside stop!“

“This is a nice local bar in Pewaukee. ***In all fairness, my food rating is based on a frozen pizza cooked after the grill was closed. It was available and ok. If it were about ten pm and I wanted a bar pizza, I would order this again.That being said, the server was attentive and very nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary hot. It was reasonably priced and came with a nice amount of fixings. I also received a decent amount for a beer chaser.I was meeting a friend briefly as she drove through town, so we didn't explore the many things available at the bar.They had pool tables and other machines there. ( I wasn't looking too closely, I'm sorry.)I will probably plan another late meeting with my friend as she finishes her classes at WCTC.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they have a wheelchair ramp. “I have been to Backstreet quite a bit over the last 40 years I lived in Waukesha. Always pretty steady with good drinks, food and service. Their Friday fish options really cannot be matched in the area with both baked and fried and I've never had one I didn't like. I had to give a review as last Friday night we went with friends and for some reason, there was a mix up and the other 5 at the table got their food and mine didn't come. It was noticed right away and immediately I had one of the owners come and apologize and even offer me soup while I waited. It did take a little bit but what made it right for me was that she checked in yet again and our server came over as well and owned the fact that he had made a mistake. What impressed me was the fact that it was important to them to make it right. In a world where so many could care less, make excuses or just plain not acknowledge, I appreciate those who will just look you in the eye, speak the truth and apologize. It was a busy night, waiters were hopping and I appreciate what they do when I know they are putting all they have into it. I felt like I had the best dinner... No corners cut, hot and made to perfection!“
“We had their Fish Fry on Friday...AH-MAZING! We've gone to a lot of fish frys in the area, and Belly Up's was probably one of the best we've EVER had! Fish was very tender and crispy, fries were great, and the coleslaw was a perfect combination! We ordered everything to go (it was still hot when we got home even) because we had a little one with us that was getting antsy, otherwise we would of most definitely stayed for the exceptional atmosphere! Looking forward to our next visit!“
“Clearly a hot spot in Menomonee Falls, their fish fry didn't disappoint. It tasted "different", actually. It felt innovative. Moreover , they have more options for fish fry than the usual ones on at any restaurant on a Friday night. Our server was great. He was attentive and personable. It's a fun place, so it's loud and noisy...don't expect a romantic ambience. I'm looking forward to going back for trivia night!“
“Food was delicious but a little bit too greasy for us. The tartar sauce was different. I would suggest maybe putting a tiny bit of macintosh apple in there. The coleslaw was not sweet what I'm used to. It was very sour so I don't know if it's supposed to taste like that or if it was old. My son wanted to try the chicken tenders but they don't serve them on the same days as fish fries. My son ended up getting the last burger. They were all out after that. Not sure if this happens often but I felt bad for the people that came in after us that left because they were there for burgers. Service was a little slow. The atmosphere was a little too dark for us. Overall I give this a four star.“
“Parking is difficult now that a new company took away the extra parking. Went there twice in the last couple months the and couldn't find any parking. Had to go elsewhere. They have the best blue gill and potatoes pancakes. They also have a peanuty popper bacon wrapped. Oh yum!“

“First time visit. Ordered to go at 5:15ish, order was ready within 30 minutes. Mom n pop bar type atmosphere. Friendly bartenders. Welcoming environment. Total cost for food was $46 before tip. (Wing night special) Ordered 32 wings (8 buffalo, 8 sweet chili, 8 hot honey, 8 garlic parm) all breaded and extra crispy. Please note, wings are normally sold by the pound on their non special days. Also added a large fry + nacho chz and the cheddar nuggets. Let’s first go over the low points. The cheddar nuggets are below average. Don’t expect a cheese curd, but they get the job done for what they are. Fries were average and a little soft. Everything else was very impressive. The generous sides of marinara and cheese sauce are appreciated. Most establishments will charge $1-$2 for side sauces that have half the amount roadhouse offered. The buffalo wing was solid 6.8/10. A little soggy but that’s expected with a breaded buffalo wing. Good flavor. Sweet chili was solid as well, 7.2/10. Good flavor and glazed over the wing perfectly. Now for the two top hitters. The garlic parm and honey hot were fantastic. The garlic parm was seasoned beautifully, and not overwhelming. Probably one of the best garlic Parmesan wings I’ve ever had. 9.7/10. The honey hot was impressive. The perfect mixture of sweet with a hint of spice. Also glazed onto the crispy wing perfectly. 8.9/10. Happy we gave this place a shot. We will be ordering wings from them again! However, we will most likely skip on the sides and apps. Overall experience was 5 stars. Highly recommend trying out if you are in the area.“
“The best breakfast in Waukesha. This may seem like a hole in the wall bar from the outside but don’t let this fool you. The cook in the back always has daily specials. The breakfast is amazing here. Do yourself a favor and try one of the cooks specials. Love this place.“
“Elbowroom definitely describes this bar. It is very small and dark, much like a lounge. They did have live music their the days I've been there. I think they have it Wednesday night and on Sundays, 1-4pm when there's not a football game. I did not eat there but their menu is small, and some of the food looked interesting. I had an excellent dirty martini and their prices are reasonable! Their staff is wonderful. I do want to try the Reuben, maybe next time ?Parking: There are a few slots for parking on the Northside of the patio in front of the bar, they also have somewhat small parking space in the back. But considering the size of the bar I think they have plenty of parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see any wheelchair accessibility.“
“Nice place. Cheap simulators $25 an hour and open to the public. Only went here for the st pattys shenanigans deal. $20 for 2 drinks, a guiness glass, and 10 shots for the closest shot wins a $250 gift card. Havent golfed here in the summer but the simulators were cool and staff were fantastic. Good food selection but didn't eat there.“
“This is a great bar, service is great! Bartender very friendly. Order the Boneless Garlic Parmesan Chicken, didn’t have much flavor. Hubby had the Spicy Garlic and Blackened Cajun Rub. He loved the dry rub but Spicy Garlic wasn’t spicy (for him)! Overall a definite stop if in area and we will be back to try other flavors of wings and of course other menu items!!“
“Great little friendly bar in Richfield. I got the bacon cheeseburger with an extra beef patty, and delicious tater tots on the side. Started off my meal with seven chicken wings which were amazing. “I gave them 5 Stars for Atmosphere but don’t expect a 5 Star restaurant this is a quant small town bar/ restaurant. We go for the Friday Fish Fry, they take your order when you arrive and seated when food is ready. I had the Baked Cod I have a big appetite and was very satisfied with the LARGE portion at a reasonable price. They are always packed but with their efficient system you get served in a reasonable time.Dietary restrictions: I had the Baked Cod with Butter no sides .Parking: Parking lot can get full when busy but there is street parking adjacent to restaurant.“
