“We stopped here on the snowmobile trail. It looked really busy by the quantity of sleds sitting outside. But when we went inside we were greeted by friendly bar tenders who helped us find a table. We then we’re waited on by one of the bartenders who was so attentive and friendly!! My parents had the pizza which is homemade and looked fantastic. I got chicken tenders which I did enjoy and my husband had their ham and cheese special and said it was great!!“

“We have stopped here several years in a row for fish fry as we have family in the area. We stopped here long ago when it was The Narrow Gauge. Always good food and pretty good drinks and beer. When they are busy be sure to order two drinks at a time as it may take a while to get your next drink. Very friendly with good food! Nice beer selection as well.“

“This used to be my run away from home stop. Although I love the setting, the service has changed dramatically over the past few years. You never know what you're walking into.Food & drinks: My cocktail must have come out of a ready-made bottle. No taste. Plus, cocktails are served in plastic cups.Noteworthy details: In the afternoon/evening, there are usually some locals that are sociable. But on the weekends it turns into a circus! At 9pm, even with children present, the music was so loud you couldn't have a conversation, which is fine after the young families leave. But, at least wait until then!“

Fish Fry

“Took a little drive (30 mins) to see if the hype was real about the fish fry! It was well worth the drive! Nothing fancy; small town bar that was either gonna be a lesson learned or gold mine! Well, it was a gold mine! The fish was incredible! Four nice-sized pieces, deep fried in a perfect batter. Batter was light and crisp while the fish was fresh and flaky! Strongly recommend giving this little off the grid place a try!“

“Excellent Bloody Mary's! Vodka is infused with jalapeno, horseradish and garlic. Yummy. Cheese and sausage slice, pickle, olives etc...and a hard boiled egg on the side. The bartender was great too. She was new, but did an excellent job.“

“Server was good, fish was ok, had it deep fried was soggy, baked potato was not done and brown inside. Husband said his fish was crispy though. He liked his loaded mashed potatoes. Overall it was ok, will probably give it a try some other time.“
