I cannot say enough great things about the team at the McFarland Pizza Hut, especially Brooke! Recently, our workplace had planned a pizza party for 60 people, only to realize—just two hours before the event—that no one had actually placed the order. With no pizza places opening until 10:30 AM and our event starting at noon, we were in a serious bind.

I called the McFarland Pizza Hut as soon as they opened, explained the situation, and without hesitation, Brooke assured me they could handle it. In under an hour, they prepared 20 pizzas, double orders of all breadsticks (with plenty of sauce), and had everything ready to go. Their efficiency, professionalism, and commitment to customer service were truly outstanding.

Thanks to Brooke and her team, our pizza party was saved, and everyone was able to enjoy a hot, delicious meal on time. If you're looking for a place that goes above and beyond, this is it. Highly recommend!“

She dotes on young people, seems to ignore older couples, maybe cuz she is young. Saves on the tip money though. I would stop again if I found myself in Madison just for the pizza. “This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite places to eat. Almost is everything is handmade from scratch and super fresh. The pizza is amazing. The deep fried food is so good, I have to get something fried everytime I go. The sandwiches and lasagna are crazy good. They have a great selection of beverages, both alcohol and non. I highly recommend a visit to this place. If you like pizza or Italian style food, you won't be disappointed.

Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza and veggie sub and a few other things from what I remember. The vegetarian selection isn't huge, but there are definitely some options.

Kid-friendliness: Nice family diner atmosphere. Has a small candy machine and big gumball machine. Also has a driving simulator video game for kids to play as well.

Wheelchair accessibility: No curbs in the lot leading to the door, so wheel chair accessibility is not a problem. Handicap space in the lot, is directly next to the rear entrance as well. No automatic door though.“

“We ordered carry out and it was a good experience, The wait wasn’t very long. We ordered a medium stuffed pizza and I would have loved to see more cheese inside. It was not cheesy at all, disappointing, considering the price. The breaded mushrooms, hot wings and the breadsticks were good. The wings are a pretty good size, I ordered bone in. Their Tiramisu slices are very good.“

“The place was super chill and we were the only customer there. Pizza and tots came out fresh n hot! I got the vegan option and it was so fluffy and savory! The sweet bbq sauce taste is strong a little too sweet for me since there was pineapples on it too but I would order again! The tots were surprisingly super good! “It was great the atmosphere is very nice and peaceful, the location was great it's not in downtown Madison on state street like the other one and you can actually find a place to park which is great. The pizza was 10/10. The building is so cool. Don't know why some karen left a 2 star review because they wouldn't give her free pizza that doesn't seem fair at all to the business. Paid $26 for 4 slices of pizza total, and 2 canned sodas for 2 people to eat. The employees we dealt with were friendly.

“Doughnuts are amazing. My family showed up on Friday night after getting some pizza. The workers there, a husband wife combo, were amazing. Not only were the doughnuts amazing, the workers laughed and joked with my 4 year old son. Showing him all the doughnuts they had in stock. “Please keep an open mind and read me out. So, you waited over an hour a time or 2, or there was an error (wrong topping, etc..) - or X, Y & Z happened? (100% inevitable in any delivery or parcel transference or taxi type of situation). So, you passive-aggressively take a swipe or "get back at them" by posting negative stuff. Why is the impetus to post a review on Google or others, in most of the reviews on such receptacles for such, anyway, mostly negative?? You waited an hour for delivery? Take a look around the world you're living in, and stop your first-world whining. Seemingly, SOME people have "nothing nice to say" - they simply didn't listen to their parents about not saying it. If you're from Madison, you know Pizza Pit has been around forever and had almost a dozen locations in the Madison metro area until things "changed" circa 2000. Fiore and the Cottage Grove Road location have CONSISTENTLY & for a long, long time, provided searing hot, wickedly-spicy (I think the spice, or hot factor, has changed from say, the 90's - in the sauce) pizza to satiate even the most ardent fuss-butt. Pizza Pit was years into delivering their signature 'spiced' - 'Za & in any precarious situation or icy road condition - while Glass Nickel was "still looking at the lingerie section of the Sears catalog." I'm not attempting to take anything away from Glass Nickel, as their spinach cheese bread and many other things are great. But, SO does Pizza Pit, that is, have an invariably extensive menu of delicious products to fill your stomach so your body is nourished properly - saving your ever-loving soul. Epic employees in town, visitors in town for a Badger game or whatever or whomever reads this - I have had pizza all over the world, and Pizza Pit is uniquely delectible & sumptuous. A truly Madison original. I realize opinion is subjective - so, maybe I'm a different breed of cat. -_-P.s. Endeavor to spread the positive, and try to limit the negative...leave it in your inner-space, so we can finally get to outer space.“

It’s a bit of an awkward wait (longer than you’d expect), and I wouldn’t recommend eating at the tables inside unless the weather is poor. Go outside and enjoy the view!
