“This place was awesome!! My husband (from Veracruz) and I are pretty picky when it comes to authentic Mexican food but this place was probably in our top 3 restaurants / cafe outside of Mexico. Handmade tortillas were being made in the kitchen the gorditas we had were delicious and the empanadas de piña were outstanding. I usually shy away from fruit filled desserts as most are just most sugar but then the owner/cook told me she hand makes the fillings from seasonal fruits I hand to try it. The empanadas are HUGE!! Like twice the size of normal empanadas and very reasonably priced! (Everything was). Like others have said- super friendly staff, beautiful views and town in general we live about 2.5 hours away but would seriously consider planning a trip around stopping here!! Simply outstanding!!“

“I was very disappointed in the fish sandwich I ordered last night. The bottom of the bun was so soggy it fell apart and was unable to be eaten. The fish it's self was cold. Not a good experience. I wish I had taken a picture.“
