“If you're looking for Chinese with great quality in the taste and freshness I'd say you wouldn't be disappointed with San Dong. Be around a long time and for as many years as I've eaten here the quality remains the same. Decent selection. Fair prices. The only reasons I gave 4 stars to the atmosphere category are: 1. It's a standard Chinese restaurant type of atmosphere. 2. I don't really feel qualified enough to judge and rate the atmosphere 100% nothing wrong with it. If they went out of their way to have live traditional Chinese music, dancers, or a light show then it'd be an easy 5 stars.

Go there and try their food. Order a couple of different entrees and bring some home for later.“

“We ordered 2 orders of chicken and snow peas dinners, and 2 orders of pork egg foo young. Our food today was SUPERB. Everything was Hot, and well packaged. The delivery time was exactly 35 minutes. We have ordered from here occasionally in the past, and a few times the food has just been mediocre. The dinners came with fried rice that was excellent, a BIG portion of soup that was tasty and an egg roll. I have read a lot of so so reviews of this establishment, but we were so impressed with our food today, that I really felt I needed to write a review and let them know how much we enjoyed our food and service today. Keep up the good work. Thank you.“

“I have an old rating on here in which I say make sure you order fresh it could be 5050, could be good it could be bad well I'm happy to announce that they have made some changes because the last 4/5 times have been fabulous one of my favorites I'm glad it's right around the corner Super fast always hot thank you so much. “DanDan is delicious and I can’t wait to come back! The General Tao’s cauliflower was the best I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the DanDan Noodles and Sichuan Pork Dumplings which both had amazing flavor and were quite filling. The Golden Pineapple drink was incredible and I’m still thinking about it! Next time I’m going to explore deeper into the menu and drink list.“

“I ordered imperial eggrolls upon entering the facility. There was a very dense appearance and smell of old refrigeration. The hostess was very nice. The price was very good two dollars per egg roll and the eggrolls were basic. I go there again only if it was only option close to my home and I don’t feel like driving, I believe everyone agrees they need to clean up that place clear that smell and turn on some lights because lots of places turn off lights to hide infestation of mice and roaches, and we can only imagine what the kitchen looks likeMaybe that’s why the prices are so cheap but there’s hope simply shut it down, clean it up, clean the windows and doors when you first come in and people may start to come back because it is a very ideal location in terms of option for Chinese food culturally cooked versus Hong Kong express located nearby on the northwest side near 76 in good Hope in Mill Road

“Our favorite to-go Chinese place. They are always very fast with our order. The price is extremely reasonable for the portion you get. We usually order the combo plate which comes with an egg roll. My husband always gets the General Tso's chicken and I get the Pepper Steak.“

“Quick, delicious, plentiful Chinese food. You get two entrees and a rice or noodle side for $8.95. The styrofoam container is packed! I usually make two meals out of one order. Currently there is only take out. We’ve gone early, mid day and in the evening. It’s always hot and tasty. Not dried out. It’s become our favorite place for reliable Chinese takeout.“

“Well I was pleasantly surprised. New owners but my food tasted just like the previous owners. Must have shared the recipes. The portion was very generous. I'll get 2 meals out of it. Curry chicken entre is what I ordered. Delicious. The young man that rang up my order was very friendly. I asked if they were family and he said they were distant relatives. I'm happy with my first carry out order, that's for sure. I'll be back.“

“We are visiting Milwaukee from Minnesota, and today we were looking for a place to eat after spending the whole day at the art museum for my daughter's birthday.

We were blessed to drive by this amazing restaurant.
The food is delicious, the service is kind and attentive, the portions are generous, the prices are fair, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is great. We were glad to find vegetarian choices in their menu.

I have only positive comments about this place. I hope that for our next visit to Milwaukee we can have the opportunity to eat there again.

“I don't know what people are expecting from this place, but you get what you pay for and it's more than worth it. The food is good...not always great but good. Theirs something for everyone. Yes they changed they're plates and cups to something more affordable for them but who cares? It serves it's purpose. If you're looking for a fancy 5 star dining experience then go to a steakhouse. if you want affordable all you can eat Chinese food with a good variety of food and deserts then you won't be disappointed.“
