Historic 50s diner delight with great staff and very reasonable pricing. We went for the corn beef hash. We were served a midwestern portion (good sized) of REAL corn beef, not that canned garbage, and wonderful potatoes hash. NONE of it was over salted, which is wonderful. We could add what we needed. Everything was perfect and hit the spot. Great job Ms. Katie... Keep it up! Don't cheap out like so many places have done!!!
We ate breakfast here while in town visiting the Harley Davidson museum. We stayed at the Iron Horse Inn and the breakfast menu wasn't our style there. My fiance and I love an old school diner and home cooking and that's exactly what this was. So comforting to have just your basic coffee, eggs, meat, potatoes and toast. The service was wonderful. Great meatloaf! I'm not usually one for gravy but it added so much flavor to the meatloaf and mashed potatoes so I highly recommend it. Service was super fast and the waitress was so pleasant. I love the 1950s feel of this classic diner, and seeing orders of what politicians have visited and where they sat brings a unique atmosphere to this restaurant. I'd highly recommend it!
