You’re greeted by a nostalgic old‑school bar, the kind that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy European time capsule. The dining area is narrow, charming, and decorated with an eclectic mix of everything from vintage pieces to German flair — basically a visual buffet before the real buffet arrives 😄.

I went straight for the schnitzel, and ohhhh my goodness… crispy, tender, perfectly seasoned — the kind of schnitzel that makes you briefly consider yodeling 🥨🎶. The red cabbage was amazing, full of flavor and cooked just right. The German potato salad? Warm, tangy, and absolutely delicious. Every bite felt like a hug from someone’s German grandmother.

Naturally, I washed it all down with a cold Spotted Cow, because when in Wisconsin, you follow the sacred traditions 🍺😆.

And just when I thought the meal couldn’t get any better… the dessert arrived. One of the richest, most decadent cakes I’ve ever had. The kind of cake that makes you stop mid‑sentence and reevaluate your dessert standards 🍰🔥.
