She took time to talk with me with out an appointment.(I had been to 3 other bakeries and no one would even answer any questions I had with out a appointment) We like red velvet and Melissa made little trials of each red velet option for us to try. She was always prompt to respond to any messages we sent. The day of She delivered to the venue right on time. She truly cares about her customers. We would highly recommend her and mama ducky!“

“I called another bakery (not National Bakery) that’s on Greenfield in West Allis, wanted to order a cake for the following week. The lady on the phone wasn’t very nice and told me I had to order online then put me on hold forever. So I hung up and called National Bakery. Boy am I glad I did. The lady that answered was so nice and so helpful. I got the most beautiful and delicious cake I’ve ever had. Really made my birthday special. National Bakery is my go-to bakery from now on. “The only dessert that never disappoints! Everything about their bundt cakes is perfect from the cake flavors and textures to the amazing frosting. Boxed nicely and present very well. Last a good while if stored in the fridge too! Love this place!!“

“Always love going in here for bread. They are always so kind and helpful. Plus last time I was in they told me about their Rewards program to sign up for. You get a rewards for first signing up and then earn points for every visit. I always love their selection of bread!“

“Been to Rochester Deli many times over the years, mostly for their fish fries. This visit was specifically for bakery items, and that is when I learned that I have apparently been enjoying Periwinkle desserts all along. Their production facility is next door, but the baked goods are sold through Rochester Deli. I also learned that the deli owner’s daughter runs the bakery.

I came in hoping to pick up a few cupcakes and possibly a small round cake. There was only one cupcake option available, a Boston Cream, which did look good. Unfortunately, there were no cakes available, so I struck out there. I did grab a couple of the peanut butter cookies half dipped in chocolate, which are always a hit at my house.

The staff member who helped me apologized for the limited selection, but there was not much they could do.

Overall, I really enjoy their cookies, bars, and cake slices, and I will definitely be back for some of their regular items.“

“We tried Mochiring recently and although there was a wait for drinks and hot dogs, I expected it with all of the buzz about this place. The drinks were amazing, the hotdogs are a MUST, especially the number 10. The doughnuts were super fresh and flavorful, I wish they had more flavors to try but I’m sure that will come with time. it’s still very early in their opening process so I understand them working things out. I’m more than happy to wait for food there, it is absolutely worth it. We have been craving it since our first visit!“

Special order available if they don't stock it. Knowledgeable staff is very helpful when you aren't a professional baker, but are working on making 200 cupcakes look fun for a church dinner! “I was incredibly impressed with a caramel cake I purchased. It was truly wa sone of, if not the best, caramel cakes I’ve ever had. I am very critical of baked good because I am a baker myself. She does a masterful job of developing and balancing flavors without her desserts being overly sweet. The texture of her caramel is silky and the flavor was decadent. The cake was the perfect balance of the appropriate moisture and density, especially for caramel cake. I had no issue with my customer service. The prices were more than I was expecting but when I tasted her cake I understood how they are justified. I am eager to try more of her treats. Kudos!“
