“Was in the area antiquing and decided to try Altona. Went a little before 5pm Saturday and the lot was pretty full. However, we were able to get seated right away. Staff was all very friendly and the buffet had a great selection for a good price. Staff was constantly watching to pull empty plates and refill drinks. The only suggestion I have would be to spread the tables out a little more. If we end up in th area in the future, would definitely go again.“

“We had a great time meeting up with family and friends we didn't know we had! One suggestion would be to lower the volume of the music.. since there isn't a dance floor.. people may hang around longer if conversation was easier to be had.“

“We stopped in for a Friday night dinner with our two children. There was some seating available since it was the off-season for tourism. The giant pretzel, served with beer cheese and brown mustard for dipping, was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Delicious! Buffalo cauliflower was roasted to perfection with just enough spice. My daughter and I had the build-your-own chicken sandwich which was just great, too. I especially liked it’s toasted ciabatta bun. My husband enjoyed his southwest chicken sandwich, and my son loved his cheeseburger. I would add that the staff were super friendly, and the blueberry cider was awesome, too. We love the variety of food options here. A wonderful dinner all around!“

“Quite the interesting interior. Definitely takes you back in time. Was able to go up to the tower. Friend caught orbs on her pictures. Definitely spirits here. Dinner was great. Had chicken Marsala and German Potato salad. Both hot and delicious“

“I had the orechetti, which was delicious. It has Italian sausage, beef ragu, pasta, with a great sauce. My wife had the shitake chicken served airplane style with an amazing sauce. Today, I had the sauger fish entre, which was boneless served with a panko breading. Great flavor.“
