“We enjoyed a great fish fry at North Lake Bear Trap tonight! We tried the cod - 2 large pieces of fish with rye bread, coleslaw, tarter sauce, and chips (with upgrade choices of potato, onion rings, etc). The cod is nicely seasoned with a light beer batter. Both the sour cream and chive wedges and the crinkle fries were fried perfectly. The tarter sauce was great for dipping with bright green pickle pieces throughout. The meal was overall delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our meal with a few beers and let the atmosphere transport us to a cozy "up north" state of mind. We will be back to try more of the menu!“

“First time here yesterday 4/27/24! There was a small wait, but the wait was so worth the food! Had the bang bang shrimp and cheese curds for an appetizer and the crab rangoon flatbread for the main course! Leftovers were brought home! Great staff, awesome environment and great food! I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Have been going to Woody's since August 2021. Friendly staff, and great selections on the menu. Location is great for people who like to ride motorcycles, bicycles or car. Located on HWY 83 and routes to many other contry roads. My personal favorites are the burgers or cracked chicken. Everything is good no matter what you order.“

“I stopped here and I did a U turn to go back to check them out because I'm not in the area that often and I felt like I would be missing something. The place very old looking on the inside with a small bar and gambling machines. The bartender was nice and talkative with the customers all 3 of us. The front sign is a leftover of a time past and they don't have food but they have frozen Brew Pub pizza. The walls and fixtures look old and I was told that it's been a Bar since 1901. They have a cool back lit bar on the wall and a super old looking door with a crest on it. The two regulars were friendly and talked to me. They also have a small patio by the front door for nice days.“

“I can absolutely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Bar and Grill at Pabst Farm in Oconomowoc, WI! The food is awesome, and I would say that the burger is the best in town. The wings are fantastic, and on Mondays they are 40 cents a piece! “First time trying the fish fry and we were very surprised. It's iconic vintage atmosphere all the way, like stepping into the 1960's. All the regulars, everyone says hi, it's charming. We got the two piece and three piece fried cod, carried it out, $30. The servings were large, perfectly cooked with a very light, flaky, crispy coating, with fries, rye bread, creamy coleslaw, and tartar sauce. “This was our first visit to Winger's. We actually were in and out of there three times over the weekend. MASSIVE bar, really great design. We were there earlier in the day and then came back an hour or so prior to the annual Christmas parade. The place was a madhouse but the staff never stopped moving and worked their tailfeathers off! Clean, Dive-ish place. We will definitely go back when we are up North again.“

“My wife and I just moved to Pewaukee and today we came in for the first time. It was a busy bar and we were still greeted and served immediately by Becca who was so kind and very attentive to every patron that she was serving. She made our time there very enjoyable. We stayed through the shift change where we met the next bartender was Nikki who was also so wonderful and on top of taking care of everyone. “Don't be fooled by the name. I'm rating this for what it is, a basic dive bar restaurant and they do it well. Easy to find. Plenty of parking in the rear lot. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon and it had a handful of locals there to eat and watch sports on one or more of the many TV's. Food was good, beer was cold and they were running several food specials. Bar tender was friendly as well as prompt. I will stop again when in the area.“

“First time here. I was greeted by the owner, Hollywood, what a lovely lady, what awesome food, what a great place!!! Hollywood suggested I try her award winning wings. I did.Donny made them. “On April 27th Nicole and I were married in the Rhino room in a private ceremony. When we first began dating we were sitting at the bar in the restaurant and the owner Ted stopped by, and asked me if this was my lovely wife, I chuckled and said no this is one of our first nice dinner dates. Ted simply said if you ever get to wed this beautiful gal we have a nice private room. That stuck with me for over 3 years and when it came time to marry my new bride there was only one place it should take place.
