It was my sister and I’s first time dining here and let’s just say it more than exceeded expectations in every way possible. The customer service was over the top incredible with Kennedy as our server and Jenna too. The manager, Emily, stopped by and was amazing as well. They were all professional, catering to us, and genuinely warm and kind. The food was fantastic and over the top. And the vibes were immaculate. Run, don’t walk to the Harvey House. “This place is a true hidden gem! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but walking in - holy cow! Give your eyes a moment to adjust because it is very dark, which makes it hard to see the tigers, and there are tigers everywhere! I had a few beers and got great friendly service from Alyssa and Teddy - awesome bartenders! I saw them make a few fancy drinks that looked delicious, but I had to head out. If you are looking for a bar that is unique, this is a MUST STOP!“

“Just want to start by saying the service at Pitcher Pub is phenomenal! From the drinks to the food and everything in between. Some of the best bar food and drinks in the Madison area! The prices are amazing compared to a lot of bars in the area. The thing that puts this bar at the top of the list for me wasn’t just the great food and bartenders but the bouncers! I would normally never consider what bar I’m going to based off of the bouncers. But Pitchers bouncers go above and beyond. The bouncer offering to walk me to my car at bar time. I was walking out alone and he walked out behind me and said let me walk you to your car. He didn’t come all the way to my car he stayed an appropriate distance for me to feel safe and waited till I was in my car to walk back into the bar. It’s not often you can leave a bar at bar time alone as a woman and feel safe.“

“Be cognizant of what you order. You can still get regular mixers and beers for a reasonable price (pshhh they even have deals sometimes). The food is actually very good, just pricey for what it is, but it's a frickin' movie theater what do you want?Treat it like you would any bar and tip well. These guys work hard. :)

“We Decided to try today while out on a motorcycle ride. We Arrived and walked in and were immediately greeted by staff. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. The staff was friendly. We ordered our drinks and food. We got the Prime Rib Sandwich with onion rings and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with fries. Both of the sandwiches were amazing. Very tasty and juicy upon first bite to the Last bite with the right amount of meat and vegetables/mushrooms with it. The fries were just right...not to crispy. The onion rings were a tad overdone and really crispy. Overall the food and drinks were 10/10. We will be back.“

“Great little bar. Get the Reuben! We are Reuben snobs and try them every place we go and theirs is in our top 3!!!! Corned beef is cooked in house and is simply amazing. Tender, sliced thick and very lean! Friendly and attentive service with reasonable prices, especially from what we saw at other places we visited in the area. Great pours of ice cold Miller Lite sealed the deal. Highly recommend a stop for lunch if you're in the area! Will be back, the next time we are in town from Chicago!“

“A Sad Return to What Used to Be a Great Spot I first visited the Green Lantern about 10 years ago when I moved to the area, and back then, the food was genuinely enjoyable—good enough that it stuck in my mind all these years. So when my wife and I decided to revisit recently, we were hopeful for a nostalgic and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, what we got was far from it. My wife asked about the fish before ordering and was told it was frozen and cooked—not a great start. She went with a salad instead, which arrived looking tired and withered, like it had been sitting out all day. Limp lettuce and watery dressing don’t exactly make for an appetizing experience. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, expecting at least a decent meal. What I got was a plate of disappointment. There was a pool of greasy brown fat dripping onto the plate, and when I took my first bite, I thought I had just hit a fatty patch. By the fifth bite, I realized—there was no meat, just chewy, rubbery fat slathered in BBQ sauce in an attempt to mask the poor quality. When I politely brought this to the waitress's attention, she relayed the message to the cook. The response? “Ribs are supposed to be fatty.” I’ve eaten hundreds of ribs in my life, and while a bit of marbling is expected, these were inedible. No meat, just fat. What was once a solid local spot has clearly lost its way. If you're looking for a place with quality food and pride in the kitchen, sadly, the Green Lantern is no longer it.“

“Great lanes and equipment! 15 of us bowled during a company party and the computers worked flawlessly. We enjoyed the graphics- especially the bowling tips. They have plenty of ramps for little kids. We enjoyed all of the food: pizza, potato skins, and nachos.I had a difficult time finding an ideal ball (10#), most of the balls were either 8# or 13#. This was a very popular place for kid's on a Sunday afternoon. As this was a family event, we fit right in. If you don't enjoy noisy children, you may want to stick to evening bowling.“
