“We had heard good things about Lallande and we were not disappointed. We ate at the bar which I would highly recommend. Our server was Nina and she made the evening fun. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb chops. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. We also had the chicken pate which was so good. But the highlight for us was the carrot tarte. A must have, if you go.The owner Ann Marie was working in the kitchen keeping all the balls in the air, but she took time to visit with us and made us feel extra welcome. Do yourself a favor and dine at Lallande on Monroe St. Perhaps we'll see you there because we'll be back! Five stars.“

“This cafe has many delicious options for food. It however does not have celiac safe options. The cross contamination is too high. They do note this if you call them by stating that they can't guarantee there isn't. But I would not eat here if you have celiacs because I did twice and it made me incredibly sick. Again the food in my opinion is delicious, it just isn't celiacs safe.“

“We have been to Nonno's at least 4 times in the past few years! This restaurant is the absolute best Italian food our family has ever had. The service is top notch! Our son Sean loves going here and always orders the Chicken Alfredo with lots and lots of cheese. I always order Spaghetti Bolognese which never disappoints!! We had the most amazing dinner, oysters on the half shell and wrapped it up with an unbelievably good coffee and date ice cream 😋 Our experience was so good we decided to go back a second night! “did not have a good experience today at la michoacana. when ordering my papas preparadas I told the lady i wanted the cueritos on the side. when the bag was given to me i noticed she had put them in. I told her and she said that she had forgot and did say sorry but what made me very upset was that she said that they were very busy and she couldn't make them again . I'm sorry but the way she did things was wrong and it's not my fault that she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. Please pay more attention to who your serving and not how many people are in line. I love going to this place but the way things were handled was not ok.“

“I've been coming here since I was a child, it has always been such a solid place to go to and the owners are wonderful people.

It is interesting to me reading some of these other reviews. Ive noticed customers being rude to the owners and selfish in peculiar ways that seem against normal interaction. The people working here are people. Its Chinese, there are vegetables. I am a bit tired of these types of reviews I am seeing under some restaurants.“

“Very good burgers, fries and shakes also very good. Only complaint is cost like everything these days. About $20 a person for a specialty burger, fries,and a shake. They do have a $10 special going right now but it was a small 🍔 burger,small fries,and a small soda. Not bad if you are good with a smaller portion. I would definitely go again however this would be a once or twice a year place for me. Enjoy!!“

“Very delicious food here, the crab ragoon and the egg roll were so crispy and loaded with fillings, and they were the best I have ever had in my life! Price is decent. The amount of the pho noodle they give us was insane! I ordered the regular size pho, and there was so much noodle in it. My friend ordered the large size, he could't even finish it. It has so much pho noodle. The broth was tasty and delicious as well. You will never leave this place hungry. Highly recommend anyone pass by Madison to stop and try this place, you will not disappoint.“

“Clean restaurant. Restrooms very clean. Nice, hip, music playing, but not too loud. The food was ok. I had chicken strips and fries, and they were ok. We shared cheese curds, and they were phenomenal! The staff was very friendly, and we were given a small discount. They also had big salads, pasta dishes, specialty pizzas, and desserts. “I went to the Echo Tap over the weekend because I had a craving for a burger. I didn’t know that there was a hockey game that night so it was quite busy but our server was very nice and accommodating despite how many tables he had. But the burger I had… it was the BEST burger I’ve had in a long long time! It was cooked perfectly and the flavors were perfect. Highly highly recommend!!“

“The dim sum menu is absolutely phenomenal. When we ordered, our server was very attentive and the food was amazing, easily the best chinese restaurant we've eaten at in Madison. The atmosphere is very calm and laid-back but not sterile; you don't feel uncomfortable holding a normal conversation, but you also aren't struggling to hear anyone over music or other loud conversations. The food itself was incredible, and even though we ordered and shared every dish as a family, there was not a single dish that even one of us disliked.

When we went, there was also a car meet which they seem to host every Thursday, which we had a lot of fun checking out after dinner. We are definitely coming back, and I can't recommend this restaurant more highly at this price point if you're looking for dim sum on the west side.“

“Was in town visiting family and I’m so glad I chose Yola’s for my morning coffee! The cutest little cafe, smells like fresh waffles right when you hit the door. Friendly baristas and quick service. As a barista and coffee lover- The espresso was delicious. I got the honey lavender latte w/ caramel sauce. The breakfast blt had the perfect bacon 😋 I also got some cold brew tea and a cute coffee sticker. I can’t wait to come back and try a waffle! This place hit the spot“

“The food was good, except the truffle fries were not warm. The service was not great. Food comes out before drinks. One entree came out with the appetizers. And 3 of us were almost done eating before the 4th person got their meal. The servers are just all over the place. I get the concept of everyone helping everyone out but the execution is very poor. I’d much prefer a traditional experience.“

“My office loves to order from Thai Noodles. They are always able to take an order for 12 people with a pickup in 90 min with no issue. I honestly cannot think of a time with any food issues. I have dined in a few times as well and no issues with that either. It is the only place I have found I actually enjoy tofu :) Highly recommend.“
