Margaritas were tasty and potent. Other beverages were very good as well.

The food was delicious. I had the barbacoa quesadilla and it was delightful. One of our party had carne asada. It was prepared in a way that I had never experienced before with large potatoes. There's a little spice to this dish, but the flavor is good. My wife had chicken enchiladas, and she loved them.

Service was a bit slow to start, but our server eventually got with the program.

Update August 2026...Came for lunch. Wife order tacos (2 chicken & 1 barbacoa) and I had Mini Chimichangas with barbacoa. The barbacoa for both of us was good. Chicken in wife's tacos was dry. The creme' sauce was poured on my Chimichangas and came with wife's tacos. This sauce was very overpowering, and it is all I could taste. Two hours later, and I can't get rid of the taste in my mouth. So, order whatever you want because the only thing you will taste is that sauce.“

“I came in to get a quick thing to eat for lunch and i was absolutely blown away by how fast i was greeted and how welcomed i felt. i only had to wait in line for maybe 2minutes because some people were ahead of me, but that just gave me time to look at the menu and figure out what i wanted. once it was my turn to order the employees, (2 nice young ladies and a gentleman at the register), were very efficient with making my food and making sure i had everything i wanted. i loooove that queso and guac come free on the entrees it’s my favorite part!! the food tasted absolutely amazing, i got the chicken and steak and they were cooked to perfection! years back i would frequent chipotle, but coming here makes me want to live inside of the qdoba!!! do you think they’d let me move in? hahaha“

“We were up in Plymouth, WI for the races on Saturday, 6-6:26. We had to leave really early on Sunday for trip home. We were hungry and Fredonia Family Restaurant was actually open that early! We were greeted warmly. The menu is varied and expected for a family restaurant. Our food came quickly and was good, hot and filling. Prices were reasonable. If you're ever going through Fredonia, WI, be sure to stop!“
