“Really enjoyed our meal at St Francis Brewery. Stephanie, our server was attentive and friendly. Food delivery was super speedy. Pretzel bites and cheese were so good. We had the Beer can chicken and chicken tenders- both excellent. Also big fans of the sweet potato fries. Live music was fantastic. Altogether a great vibe- we’ll be back!“

“We were here for 3 reasons.
Packers game. French onion Soup. It was chilly out so yes, the soup worked.
I have gone thru food moods lately so we definitely needed this French thing. For our first time here we will really try to coordinate a better temperature day. It was freezing in there but still the service was fine.“

“Recently had lunch here after a Dr's appointment - for the first time. The prices are reasonable. It was very busy. we were seated quickly but it was a long wait to get our food. We ordered breakfast- and most of the food was good. But I had a chicken breast with my eggs and potatoes- it tasted horrible. When I spoke to the waitress about it she informed me that the restaurant marinades the chicken in pickle juice before frying. I feel like thats something you should tell people in advance.“

“We did the splash studio. Kiu was a great bartist. She is incredibly talented and her steps are super easy to follow. It was my first time painting since middle school and I left feeling rhat I could have chosen art for a career. Khamillian was also an awesome bartender.“

“Absolutely amazing, all around! Food, service, everything. Shrimp sweet and delicious. Scallops silky soft and smooth, seared great and so tasty! Bacon wrapped asparagus is killer good. Prime rib sandwich is pillow soft, so flavorful and satisfying. Great garlic and herb butter seasoning on everything. I had a nasty respiratory infection a couple months prior, hadn't been able to taste much of anything for over two months... until coming here. I could taste the amazing flavor cooked into all of our items for the first time since getting sick. This was probably about the most satisfying dining experience I've ever had. You just have to stop at kopp's and have the best double cheeseburger and fried onions you've ever had in your entire life. You asked me how do I know? Great pickles. had fries, they were great .. the best was flavor of the day custard apple struessel... that was amazing!!!!! “We really loved our experience at Highlands Cafe today. We’ve never had a bad experience or food, but today was particularly exceptional as it was the first time we brought our boys (2 years and 11 months). We had promised our 2 year old ice cream with breakfast as where we were originally going to go, they have malts. Much to our surprise they were closed, cue the toddler meltdown 🫠 Highlands cafe to save the day! No wait, they made a “special ice cream drink” right away for our 2 year old (chocolate milk with whip cream and sprinkles) and he could not have been more happy. The food was excellent to boot! And a mimosa and bloody for mom and dad 🥰 We will definitely be back often. Thank you Highlands Cafe for your hospitality, kindness, patience, and grace ❤️🫶“

I always get the terrific Asian slaw which is bountiful and so welcome an alternative to fries. This batched needed a hint more vinegar. Reasonably priced wine list. Pies are made in house. Took a piece of rhubarb home, delightful. Cozy atmosphere.“

“We had my birthday brunch at Oak Barrel and it couldn't have gone any smoother! They saved the day after another well-known MKE restaurant completely ghosted us just 2-weeks before the date. Communication with Mackenzie and booking could not have gone any better. We had the entire upstairs area to ourselves plus we were able to order off the actual brunch menu (which I LOVE). Our bartender, Danny, was amazing, attentive and provided excellent service to our guests. There were several other staff members helping out (I didn't get their names unfortunately) who were all amazing. This was the first time at Oak Barrel for a lot of our friends and family and they said they would definitely be back. Excellent food, great venue & spectacular service - they really made my birthday special.“

To say the least, I was surprised if I had been informed before I had ordered, I may have decided to stay. Now I'll ask to see if there's a charge and if there is. I won't get takeout from them again.“
