“They are dog friendly and have consistently had good options on tap. Do know that they are a bar only, not a resturaunt. They have bags of chips for sale, but no food food. I like it because I like having a place out that I can take my dog. Dogs allowed inside and out on the patio.“

“I have ordered from No. 1 Chinese Restaurant several times. Years ago, I thought their quality was so-so. Lately, they've been excellent. I like my Chinese takeout to be fresh, not-gloppy, with crisp vegetables and flavorful, but not too salty. I don't think they use MSG. More recently, I have ordered from their food through Grub Hub. Unfortunately, the last time Grub Hub screwed up and brought me the wrong order. It wasn't No 1's fault. I called No 1. and they sent the correct order, at their own expense. I felt bad that I wasn't prepared to give the driver a tip. Please support this local restaurant!!!“

“my family of 6 stopped in there. and being a huge soccer fan because i played all my life and coached until an illness took it all away seeing soccer on the tvs was awesome. the knowledge of the game by the staff was great. food was so delicious. Cameron was our waiter and Brad was our cook. great duo to have preparing your food and serving. they went out of our way to make our stay amazing.“

Whats starting to gripe me is the expectation of a tip for ringing up a loaf of bread, or a bag or two of coffee?
Please, yes we tip when we order sit down, but think about it we don't get seated, we have to give them a number, we must go fill our own coffee, and bus the table when we're finished?
How does this justify tipping, when nothing more than taking and order happened.“

“So first off I already LOVED CBC . From the drinks, muffins, cakes, etc. The customer service is always on point, and the place is always clean.

Today I came in to have my daughter fill out an application for our favorite neighborhood coffee/food/ and good service shop. After filling out the application we had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Estephanie today.

CBC knows what they’re doing when they hire. Estephanie is the perfect person for management. During the conversation she was transparent about the position, the expectations, the moral, the goal, and the obstacles that may come. The conversation alone is one that I believe most kids coming into the workforce with no experience needs to hear. My daughter walked out of the business with a better understanding of what to expect from any job and how she needs hard work, understanding, good communication, and confidence to succeed .

“I always go here with my family. The service is superb! all the staff is friendly and so fast! The food is served hot, and the morning mocktails?! Tried all of them and they're very good! Hoping for more seasonal drinks and maybe some seasonal bagels?“

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. “Our first trip to Zarlettis downtown Milwaukee was very enjoyable. My husband and I celebrated our 38th anniversary here and were greeted with two glasses of complimentary champagne. Very nice touch. Our server was outstanding and made sure we were taken care of at all times. I chose the bolagnese with the housemade papparadelle pasta. So deliscious! Hubby had the short ribs over risotto and they were outstanding. We also shared a pancetta shrimp skewer, a pear gorgonzola salad and had the creamy chickpea soup. A very nice meal followed by a shared house made tiramisu. I would put this one in my top 5 list and I eat tiramisu every chance I get when available. We also were served bread with traditional olive oil, pepper and parmesan. Given it was a celebration we also enjoyed a nice bottle of pinot grigio and a barolo special red. The restaurant was cozy and perfect for our celebration. Thanks to all the staff for treating us so well. We would visit again for sure!“

“Overall experience was great. Started off with the fried calamari as an appetizer which was to die for and good portion. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ribeye. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted juicy and tender. We shared the asparagus and crab Mac and cheese for our sides. (Sides are portioned to be shareable). The sides were great as well. My only suggestion is providing clean plates for your sides since they are shareable. The steak comes on a plate covered in au jus which is delicious, but I didn't want to plate my mac n cheese on that plate and the bread plates were a little small. Not a big deal though! Service was great, ambiance was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“Our first visit to Lebnani House, we will definitely be back. Food was delicious, the menu is large with lots of options. Our server, Kenza was fantastic. She gave us time to review the menu and described her favorites. I had the mixed grill, with three types of meat, my wife had the grilled mahi mahi fish fillet with tahini sauce. Both were fantastic. Can’t wait to return and try some of their other options.“
