“Johnthan is so commutative and a wonderful community member to work with. The Gathering Spot was the perfect location to host. Surprise Bridal Shower. They have an great size kitchen, takes & chairs. Plenty of parking and a fridge to use. Highly recommended!!“
“Really enjoyed the brownie chocolate ice cream waffle cone. Several other flavors including Java chip are available. Lots of flavors to add like sprinkles and candies. Also a banana split is available. Cute interior and some candies from a shelf are available for the road. Really enjoyed it for a quick stop and a nice view of the town.“
“Excellent service! Ann was very responsive and we set up this event rather quickly. It was a large event with a couple hundred kids at a camp. We had a tight timeframe, and the truck was prompt (in fact a bit early), and followed specific instructions well in a place with a large footprint. The two young gentlemen in the truck were polite, kind and professional. The trucks are colorful and everyone loved the ‘arctic’ animals painted on the trucks. The kids were so happy and had so much fun. This event was done in memory of a family member we recently lost that wanted to make these kids smile, and it was perfect. I highly recommend Tropical Chill in Spring Grove. Their prices were reasonable, and they don’t tack on a lot of extraneous charges like other places do. We will use them again!“
“First time here. Probably won’t return. Friendly attentive employee. Prices are reasonable. Seating is upstairs. It’s very clean. In my opinion, it needs some color or some music or some plants or something. They were out of lemonade, and for some strange reason they’re out of napkins - someone needs to do the inventory. Berries tasted off. Ice cream was a little freezer burnt. No trash cans only recycle bins so you have to wonder if you should throw your plastic and trash in there. They have a drive thru but not easily handicap accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a brick ramp but would be difficult. Also only upstairs seating“
“Pulling up through the drive through, I can barely speak to the tinny speaker. My salivary glands burst into over drive as I fail to speak. I swallow and gurgle out finally, One large peanut butter and Oreo mixer. By the time I get to the drive up window, drool is dripping down my face and into the seat. I pay and look up at the young lady handing me and upside down cup of amazingly sweetened sugar and frozen calf sustainable liquid. I cannot operate a motor vehicle for more than 30 feet, as I need to find a safe space to devour this concoction. I'm in heaven.“
“I will never forget the day the beautiful establishment opened for the first time. It was the first time I shed tears since my meema passed a couple of years ago. She used to take me to culvers and we used to lady and the tramp the fries, it was beautiful lovely memory I have. And going into the fine establishment got my lips puckered up for the next time I suck on those delicious fries!“
“Lately, I have had trouble finding great tasting, local food. A lot of places have that frozen dinner, mass produced taste. However, Asian Fusion was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the orange chicken and crab rangoon, something basic to determine if it is worth coming back. Will definitely be coming back to order other things off the menu. The rice appeared fresh and did not have any hardness or that leftover the next day and reheated quickly feeling. The orange chicken was amazing, and had a bit of a punch to it that I have not tasted anywhere else. Even the broccoli had snap and was not overcooked or soggy looking. The dinner came with a free egg roll which tasted just as great. It is connected to a rolled ice cream shop as well, and the person working the counter was also rolling up ice cream for other diners.“
“Been to several Culvers nationally. Kentucky, Alabama, Illinois. Reasonably consistent no matter where you go. I've been to this location several times, and it does not disappoint. Crew is helpful, on the job, busy, well groomed, and careful. No complaints at all. Food is okay, I always get the fish because. Suggest changing the fryer oil more often in Fox Lake. Expensive, I know, but worth it in the end. All things considered, well done all. I'll be back.“
“Went by this Dairy Queen yesterday and noticed it was missing lots of parts of a building hope it's just a remodel. Hope it's open sooner then later but I guess it's all up to the weather. Can't wait to get yummy treats at this place once it's reopen!“
“They make their waffle cones fresh everyday. Their ice creams are so good in quality, got to try blueberry waffle in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Price is also reasonable. They relocated from Main Street to a different location now and has plenty of parking.“
