“Went there today for Easter dinner. Way easier than cooking. We pre-ordered and it was ready on time. Unfortunately, when we got home there were no sauces or fortune cookies. My friend called and they sent someone right away with no charge. Sure, the sauces should have been included to begin with, but they did make it right with a smile ☺. And, the food was terrific. “The exterior is so unassuming, boasting of red glass tiles and no windows. However, when you step inside, you are transported into a Cantonese inspired eatery. The ceiling tile was nicely arranged, and the seating and decor ties everything together beautifully. I noticed that each table was extendable in some way which I thought was really cool. I’m sure the functionality makes for great transitions when serving large parties.
As we sat down, we were greeted by two hosts, who provided wonderful service throughout our dinner. The young lady turned the channel to a Disney movie for our little ones, which really helped to curve their anxiousness while waiting.
I ordered the General Tso’s dinner which I finished in the restaurant, my mom and the littles ordered orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, cabbage, crab Rangoon and dumplings. The kids and I enjoyed our food, my mom felt more meh about the flavor.

Personally, I’ll go back. They stated they’re working on their liquor license so soon cocktails will be added to the menu which is an added bonus for a night out.“

“I‘m remarkably not good at branching out when it comes to food (ARFID). The food here was amazing and let me get out of my comfort zone. Lawrence was an exceptional server. When there were other tables needing help, he managed to balance all of us wonderfully.“

“King's Wok food is really good! Their chicken fried rice, chicken lomein, sesame chicken, chicken fried chicken, and crab Rangoon are all delicious! “If you're looking for Chinese with great quality in the taste and freshness I'd say you wouldn't be disappointed with San Dong. Be around a long time and for as many years as I've eaten here the quality remains the same. Decent selection. Fair prices. The only reasons I gave 4 stars to the atmosphere category are: 1. It's a standard Chinese restaurant type of atmosphere. 2. I don't really feel qualified enough to judge and rate the atmosphere 100% nothing wrong with it. If they went out of their way to have live traditional Chinese music, dancers, or a light show then it'd be an easy 5 stars.

“Have been ordering from this place since it opened and I have never been disappointed. It is one of the best American Chinese food places on this side of Wisconsin. The ingredients always taste fresh and delicious, with generous takeout portions. They don't skimp on the meat or seafood! I have kids that are picky eaters and they love the shrimp with broccoli and the egg rolls the most. My kid who always asks for only peanut butter sandwiches all day will quietly chow down on the rice and broccoli, then invite the shrimp to the belly party. Another of my kids didn't even know until today that egg rolls are full of cabbage (stuff she doesn't like to eat if I make it at home) and just raised her eyebrows and said "well I love cabbage then!" and continued to eat the whole egg roll up as usual.The staff are always polite and friendly, food is made to order and ready quickly. “Incredibly legit northern Chinese restaurant. As an ABC (American born Chinese), I was literally the least Chinese person there when we went. Seems like the whole Chinese population in Milwaukee knows about this place, and it definitely deserves the recognition.

They have an extensive menu, but their northern style foods really stand out - dumplings, noodle/soup noodle dishes, and certain stir fries that are more specifically from northern China. Our favorites that we ordered were the 地三鲜 (eggplant, potato, and green pepper) and 麻辣汤米线 (spicy soup with noodles?).

Their food does seem to run on the salty side, but it’s also because it is mostly intended to go with white rice.

Will definitely be coming back.“

We have ordered from here occasionally in the past, and a few times the food has just been mediocre. The dinners came with fried rice that was excellent, a BIG portion of soup that was tasty and an egg roll. “I ordered imperial eggrolls upon entering the facility. There was a very dense appearance and smell of old refrigeration. The hostess was very nice. The price was very good two dollars per egg roll and the eggrolls were basic. I go there again only if it was only option close to my home and I don’t feel like driving, I believe everyone agrees they need to clean up that place clear that smell and turn on some lights because lots of places turn off lights to hide infestation of mice and roaches, and we can only imagine what the kitchen looks likeMaybe that’s why the prices are so cheap but there’s hope simply shut it down, clean it up, clean the windows and doors when you first come in and people may start to come back because it is a very ideal location in terms of option for Chinese food culturally cooked versus Hong Kong express located nearby on the northwest side near 76 in good Hope in Mill Road
