“It is New Year's Eve 2024. We just got home from Michael's On the Lake and my husband ordered the special 44oz Porterhouse and it was divine! This steak was at least 3 inches thick.....but maybe more, so flavorful and melted in our mouths. (He shared a piece with me.) He ordered it rare snd it came out perfectly. All the food was fresh. The music and atmosphere were classy and subdued. The wait staff is well trained and friendly. The old fashioneds were great too. Michaels on the Lake is a jewel of a restaurant. This family owned and run place is worth the drive!“

Even though we have experienced some heat waves this summer quite regularly the maintenance given to the property is still impressive and can tell a great deal of care is taken.“
