“Ordered a Pappagiorgio Medium and original breadsticks. Wait time was acceptable. Food tasted good and it fed two hungry adults with 1 slice and 3 breadsticks leftover. The atmosphere was welcoming, the decor was tasteful, and the service was good. The music choice for the day was poor (heavy metal) but it was busy so people's voices somewhat drowned it out. Also, we sat inside and could've moved outside. I would eat there again.“

“We recently tried Angelo's Brick Oven Pizza for the first time since it's been in the mall. In our opinion, it's hands down the best pizza in the area!! “Having lived in Westchester County, New York, for several years, I like to think I’ve developed a pretty good sense of what authentic New York pizza should look and taste like. And let me tell you, Giovanni’s NY Pizza did not disappoint!

What an unexpected gem to discover in the middle of West Virginia! The restaurant is run by a former Marine, and we were personally greeted by the owner, who prepared a fresh pizza right in front of us, complete with a delicious assortment of toppings.

Oh my, was it good! So good, in fact, that we ended up ordering two more pies to take home!

Everything about this pizza reminded me of what I loved about New York pizza. The crust had that perfect crunch on the outside while remaining soft and airy on the inside, with a wonderful hint of olive oil. The tomato sauce was rich, beautifully seasoned, and bursting with flavor, complemented by delicious mozzarella melted to perfection. Every bite was a reminder of how good a properly made New York pizza can be.

And here’s what impressed me even more. When we got home, we reheated the extra pizzas slowly in the oven, taking our time to bring them back to temperature. They hadn’t lost a thing! The crust was still wonderful, the flavors just as vibrant, and the cheese just as delicious. They tasted almost every bit as good as they had fresh out of Giovanni’s oven. Now that’s the sign of a pizza made right!

And the value? Almost unbelievable! Less than ten dollars for two generously sized slices, made fresh to order, and a drink. These days, finding that combination of quality, authenticity, and affordability is a rarity.

Giovanni’s is proof that you don’t have to be in New York to enjoy a fantastic New York-style pizza. Great food, genuine hospitality, and exceptional value. We came in expecting a quick bite and left with two extra pizzas and a new favorite spot.

She first came up apologizing about forgetting an icing, and even though I told her not to worry, she went out of her way to come back the icing cups! “We ordered via the app tonight, and there was an internet pricing problem, which we were overcharged. We called, and were greeted by Emily, who was VERY professional and listened to our issue. She asked us to hold a second, and Sarah(the GM) came on. We explained our issue to her, and she told us that since it was an internet issue, she couldnt do anything about it. She then told us that she would be voiding our CC payment and sending the order for free! THIS DEFINITELY goes WAYYY over & above what was expected, as we were overcharged by about $5.
