“I have had the a very long day IYKYK. But I went to Pizza Oven in Inwood starving, they close at 9 and I was there at 830 pm. They were so kind and took my order, told me to sit and relax. I got my salad home and found this note with a cookie 🥹. This small gesture of kindness I can not even explain how this made me feel, well I cried. I called the restaurant and could not thank them enough. This world is really crazy and people do not show kindness like they once did. But these 3 employees have no idea how I needed this and after a terrible day it was just what I needed. Thank you for exceptional service and being so kind to a stranger!!“

She asked us to hold a second, and Sarah(the GM) came on. We explained our issue to her, and she told us that since it was an internet issue, she couldnt do anything about it. Rosa and her family make you feel as though you were a member of the family. If you haven't eaten here you are missing out. There are 2 other family restaurants in the county. The other two are owned by Rosa's brothers. If you have never eaten at one of the three you have missed out.“

“Having lived in Westchester County, New York, for several years, I like to think I’ve developed a pretty good sense of what authentic New York pizza should look and taste like. And let me tell you, Giovanni’s NY Pizza did not disappoint!

What an unexpected gem to discover in the middle of West Virginia! The restaurant is run by a former Marine, and we were personally greeted by the owner, who prepared a fresh pizza right in front of us, complete with a delicious assortment of toppings.

Oh my, was it good! So good, in fact, that we ended up ordering two more pies to take home!

Everything about this pizza reminded me of what I loved about New York pizza. The crust had that perfect crunch on the outside while remaining soft and airy on the inside, with a wonderful hint of olive oil. The tomato sauce was rich, beautifully seasoned, and bursting with flavor, complemented by delicious mozzarella melted to perfection. Every bite was a reminder of how good a properly made New York pizza can be.

And here’s what impressed me even more. When we got home, we reheated the extra pizzas slowly in the oven, taking our time to bring them back to temperature. They hadn’t lost a thing! The crust was still wonderful, the flavors just as vibrant, and the cheese just as delicious. They tasted almost every bit as good as they had fresh out of Giovanni’s oven. Now that’s the sign of a pizza made right!

And the value? Almost unbelievable! Less than ten dollars for two generously sized slices, made fresh to order, and a drink. These days, finding that combination of quality, authenticity, and affordability is a rarity.

Giovanni’s is proof that you don’t have to be in New York to enjoy a fantastic New York-style pizza. Great food, genuine hospitality, and exceptional value. We came in expecting a quick bite and left with two extra pizzas and a new favorite spot.

“This was the best Ledo’s we’ve been to! The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered online and included a slice of carrot cake; when we got there they were out but they kindly gave us a couple cupcakes to make up for it. The staff were so friendly and nice, we’ll be back soon!“

“Amazing bar down to earth. The bar staff are very personal and attentive never letting your glass go empty and DEFINITELY best prices for drinks in town!

They also have pool tables and a patio to go outside and drink. Being a foodie person, their food is amazing with appetizers and entrees. Ps tacos are amazing.

She first came up apologizing about forgetting an icing, and even though I told her not to worry, she went out of her way to come back the icing cups! She didn’t have to, but she did—and it really made my night!!

Meanwhile, I’ve had the opposite experience with Papa John’s in the area, where I had the wrong pizza delivered and raw dough and wasn’t resolved nearly as well. The difference in customer service really stands out. Thank you again, Robin!“

“The food always comes out great at this location. Even though they were completely swamped with customers and their AC unit was down everyone was putting their all in to get the orders out the door. All the employees were very helpful and nice with great work ethic despite the heat. I would give ten stars for just the employees alone but the tasty pizza is a bonus.
