“Epigram is a cozy coffee shop nestled in historic Harpers Ferry in a beautifully renovated stone home near the top of Washington Street. Great atmosphere with three levels of relaxed dining to include balcony and outdoor patio seating. A wood stove on the first floor area adds a special touch of warmth and ambiance to your experience. I had a hot decaf espresso Malt specialty drink for $6 which was a delicious new taste for me. I love to support the local small businesses and this one is so deserving. The Coffee shop also has a reminder sign that street parking is limited and the town does ticket, so consider your parking options before you arrive.“

“Stopped in 15 minutes before closing on my husband’s birthday so I could get him something delicious. They never made me feel rushed and were absolutely lovely. I picked a key lime cheesecake slice, a berry tart, and a chocolate crème brûlée. My husband loved them all. Our favorite, though, was the cheesecake. SO delicious. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Though I've never had the need to fulfill an order in addition to interacting with the staff, it is easy to see that the bakery here does well. Items are baked fresh every day, with older items being discounted and grouped together at the end of business hours. Before a relatively new update to the area, flies were constantly flying around and landing on open food such as donuts and bagels. However, this problem has been remedied. The item selection here is mostly good and well recommended, but the quality of some such as their donuts could be raised higher. However, the breads here are great tasting.“

“I tried messaging them private but they never answered because I don't think one bad employee defines your whole bakery. My girlfriend and I visited your bakery last weekend. The manager on duty seemed a little agitated with a prior customer and had an attitde while we were ordering. She checked us out and then put our food in the microwave to warm up as we requested. She went to the back while we waited. We were standing there for about 5 minutes and when she came back to the front, she was holding a dirty plunger in her hand and grabbed our food out of the microwave. We were disgusted and ended up throwing our food away. We did not want to make a big deal and have other customers upset. I thought it was a good idea to let you know what was happening in your bakery.“

“Never a bad experience here and we have been almost every weekend since they opened. We come for the bagels, sandwiches and cream cheese but we always leave with a couple of pastries that just call out our name. Absolutely love this place. The service is always notably friendly given how insanely busy they stay.“
