“If you enjoy Laury’s in Charleston, WV, you will love it here! It is downtown, so I was worried about parking, but we easily found a spot on the street nearby. Our waiter, Brian, was really great. Our salads and the bread…so good. We both ordered the filet mignon, between the two of us we had their roasted potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, and the baked macaroni and cheese. Just incredible. And their crème brûlée was also delicious. The dining area has low lighting and a cozy atmosphere. The building is really cool. Very nice place; especially for special evenings.”

All fresh and so delicious. I got the honey crusted walleye, with candied sweet potatoes, and green beans. My daughter got the clam chowder, crab cakes and rice. They had other options there as well besides seafood. I gotta give compliments to the chef! 5 star food for sure! This has to be my favorite restaurant after today. That's a winner for me(its already cold, and going to be gone in 10minutes)! The food both times ive visited has been perfect. The chicken falling apart juicy but still crispy. The fries are a nice crinkle cut and they also give a massive slice of texas toast with the orders. I dont know what the Guthries sauce is of but it was amazing too. “We always enjoy Waffle House. Breakfast is our to go food. There are two waffle Houses in our area. I like both but the one on 29th street in Huntington WV is my favorite. There is a young waitress there. I think her name is Shanti but I’m not positive. I have a 13 year old grandson who has had trouble with bullying and has difficulties with making friends. She teases him and is extra friendly to him. She calls him Mr. Long Hair because he like a lot of teenage boys has long hair. He loves going to Waffle House and his mental attitude has changed so much. We are very appreciative of her. She is what Waffle House is. Going home where you feel comfortable and eating a good meal with family and friends.”

Been here a few times over the years. I used to frequent Huntington, WV and I would enjoy the different places and restaurants in the area. Nawab’s is a highlight if you’re into Indian food, spices and degrees of the spice spectrum. Seafood, chicken, lamb and goat are some of the proteins you can find in this place.

Today, my wife and I had a couple of their entrees, Scallop Jalfrezie with the hottest spices. Kashmiri Chicken with medium heat in the spices. A serving of garlic and cheese Naan. And a Strawberry Lassi to cleanse your palate.

The waiter filled our glasses with fresh ice water, then left the remaining pitcher.

It was a little busy with customers, plus the ones who came in for a pick up of their own meals. Our food came hot and fresh within 10 minutes. The aroma was so nice. The taste even better. I won’t lie, but the hottest spices on my dish had me drinking some water for the first few bites, hahahaha. But afterwards, no problem.

My wife and I shared our dishes as usual, and she even enjoyed my dish, as I also enjoyed hers.

So if you’re in the area, there’s maybe 15-20 parking spaces. And they’ll be more than happy to serve you, your sweetie, or your group of friends or colleagues.

Food prep time is a little slower than the burger place, but well worth a minute or so wait. The sandwiches can be served as a wrap rather than in a sandwich bun. My favorite is the roast turkey, ranch dressing, and bacon wrap.”

“This Dairy Queen is AMAZING! I've gotten ice cream cakes at this particular store for years, always nice but just a normal experience. They are clean, they have a good selection and are on my way home, it's a win/win. I had a fluke with Maiya's cake that she wanted yesterday, someone else was supposed to order it but didn't and I didn't find out until 3:00 p.m. ... I wanted to pick the cake up by 4:30 p.m. I just KNEW I was going to have to get her a different design. She would have been fine but she wanted this specific one. I called the store and the young lady that answered knew she couldn't promise to help without approval so she put the owner on. I explained what happened and how I know it might not be possible but turning 13 is important for a girl so if they can make this cake by 4:30 I would even pay extra. Not only did he not hesitate to help in every way, but he took my cake order and promised it would be done by the time I got off work, all while being busy as all heck on a 70 degree day in February. He even made jokes about the weather and being so busy. There was a stress in his voice but you could tell it was a good bit of stress that he handled perfectly. It really isn't common for most places to go out of their way for customers these days. They are sticklers to the guidelines, which is understandable. Normally a special design like the tye-dye pooh emoji needs to be ordered at least 24 prior to pick up... they helped me out in a pinch and it was done and ready to be written on by the time I walked up to their front counter. They had no problem helping me out at all and it really made my baby girl's day.”

The ice cream was incredibly creamy, smooth, and pleasantly sweet — definitely not icy or artificial tasting. The Banana Split was perfectly made, with fresh fruit and well-balanced toppings that didn’t overpower the flavor. Honestly, it’s one of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was friendly. Overall, it’s a great place to satisfy a sweet craving and enjoy a really good treat.
