I recently visited Boxcar Coffee Shop for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and a menu that caters to all tastes. The service was top-notch – friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

“Usually I’ll be greeting with “good morning” when I step my foot into the door. This morning were so different. Although the room were filled with people sitting down having their coffee already. The two attendants were busy behind the counter. It’s my birthday today. I walked in for my free complimentary coffee. My daughter and I are the huge fans of this place. A Typical Canadian. Just too friendly 😊. I bought a Sweat top which my daughter convinced me to get one for my birthday. She owns 2 pieces of the sweat tops she got there before we left for our 3 months trip to Asia. So ya! I don’t know how to rate their service this morning. So ya! Whatever issues we have. Especially in public service. Please don’t bring it to work. It’s not fair to bring it on to others’ lives. We have no idea who can be walking into your place. That person could be wanting to be in a nice and positive environment because he/she might be having a bad time going on in their lives. That’s all I’m gonna say here!

“Dessert are really good... We tried and would recommend Funnel Cake-Pitache, the Belgian Creations -Chill to the cone, and Skillet cookies -for the love of Rocher, Funnel Fry Poutine- fudge and caramel concoction. Drinks are heaven too.
Service is outstanding - Shanu is very helpful and very friendly. The place itself is very spacious and clean when we went. We visited to other location too but this one is the biggest one we've been so far.

Vegetarian options: Very easy to discover many dinning breakfast options even for those with dietary concerns as a few in my party requires. We can’t say enough good things about this location, the helpful and very friendly staff. How I wished they were in our home town, but we’ll return every time we come to Edmonton, genuinely a special place to start the days there off on the right foot so to speak?“

“Just started working downtown and wondered why I kept seeing people on jasper with these white cups with red lids. Finally tracked down that it was coffee bureau. Stepped inside and immediately knew I came to the right place. Ordered a latte and toasted bagel. Fresh Montreal bagels are the best. Good coffee, great people, fun atmosphere and the small shop has a cozy feel that is super welcoming. Big fan.“

Plus, as this is a public place, and public nudity is illegal, there’s that too. Worry not, readers, as no one here actually has their kit off, despite the name. The thing I love about this place when the new owner took over, is he kept the American food as an option and then expanded with specialties which is obviously paying off. “My favourite cozy, late night cafe. I can always count on them to be open, and I know I’ll have a great experience. The food is fresh and the bubble tea is fantastic — the only place I know of that sells white rabbit candy bubble tea, and it’s my go-to every single time.

There’s a large selection of both food and drinks, so there’s something for everyone! It’s always nice seeing the owner’s friendly face, as well.“

“The customer service at this location is amazing. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. I was talked into drinking something I have never had before and that never happens. They even offered to replace the drink if I didn't like the first sip. I was not disappointed with the drink either. I will be returning to this location even though it's out of my way.“

“A great place to get some work done. Menu is limited but delicious and the coffee is great. There’s lots of tables and sun. I work nearby and come here at least every other week to work uninterrupted for a few hours, and the staff never seem to mind.“

“This is my usual Gong Cha location, but we were greeted with great customer service yesterday!

5 of us visited after dinner, and we took our time deciding what to order. We were inquiring about the new Pumpkin flavour, and Jeff was not only honest about his thoughts, he was also kind enough to let us try a sample. We're glad he let us sample because that helped us with our decision!

“We went to Canada place to submit our passports, if you are going make sure to go early as there will be a long line and wait time. Timothy's was a nice little spot at the bottom floor. Their chai latte is a must try ( I had it with oatmilk which was lovely to see that they had alternative milk options). The customer service was very nice. The chai latte was so sweet so I'd recommend one pump less than he recommended when ordering the chai latte. I had two myself and finished my husbands! Yes it's that delicious. I couldn't try any of the pastries unfortunately as they all had dairy so my suggestions would be if they could make a few pastry choices for those with dietary restrictions. That would be nice. Perhaps some vegan, dairy free options would have been nice to see as most other restaurants do it. Anyway if you are getting anything done at Canada Place be sure to check them out one floor down from the main floor.“

“I used to go to this location for my breakfast bagel and the tea, then I did not go for 2-3 months, I had a visit this morning and 'm just amazed by how she remembered how I liked my bagel and cheese and prepared it same way without I ask for it. “Only complaint, Holy moly that was the worst cup of tea I've ever had. Hot water with some loose leafs that only steeped for about 20 seconds.

Other than that... Great soup and sandwiches, coffee was apparently good too.“
