“I had a small issue during my visit to PF Chang’s, but the server “Promise” and trainee “ Emily “ both were great and the manager Chris, went above and beyond to make things right. Their professionalism and quick response turned the whole experience around, and I truly appreciate it.

“Just moved here, & I'm so thankful I found this hidden gem! I looked up over 20 places, & I didn't see what I wanted on the menu I'm so thankful I called in and asked if they have Tofu & they did! I made my own Tofu with broccoli, & fried rice with only egg/onion. They have the best prices affordable prices in Hoover! This will be my only to go spot for Chinese food. It's well worth the drive in a very beautiful neighborhood to the plaza. One of my favorite things is the crispy noodles 🤤 they make there's fresh next time I'm getting 10 bags because one wasn't enough. I will be getting food here weekly very generous with the portions almost enough for 3 meals. I highly recommend everyone try this spot, & if you don't see something on there menu just call & ask. Hidden gem thank you so much for the wonderful food.“

“Don’t focus on the 2 stars for atmosphere, unless you’d rather pay for ambience than for good food. The thing that first hooked me on Yoe Express was their coconut soup. Even on that visit I noticed the good price for their lunch specials (which appear to be available at other times as well). So on my next visit I decided to try the black pepper chicken. It was really good, AND the portions of the chicken and the fried rice were large enough that I ate half and took the rest home for dinner. I’ll be back again and again to try the other dishes. Back to the prices - with meal prices going up and up at other restaurants I go to, it’s nice to see Yoe not following suit. You can still get a generous meal of good food for a reasonable price. If you live in Homewood, you owe it to yourself, and to the good folks at Yoe Express, to support this establishment. If you don’t live in Homewood, get in the car and drive there to check it out; it won’t be your last time.“

“Incredible food at great prices! We’ve picked up from Happy China twice. Our order was ready within 20 minutes each time, and the young lady was conversant in English and friendly. The lo mein noodles are thick like they should be. Egg drop soup was yellow and flavorful. Sauces on beef & broccoli and sweet & sour were perfectly savory and tangy. Meat was tender, broccoli was crunchy cooked. Egg roll was delicious. Beats all other Chinese places we’ve had from Valleydale to the Summit.“

“I dined in but I ate outside with a family member. The food came out hot and delicious! I tried 5 Flavored Shrimp and an egg roll! So this was a chef special on the menu. The Five Flavored Shrimp has huge carrots and water chestnuts. I enjoyed the delicious chilli pepper flavors. Customer service was phenomenal and they brought out the wontons for our soup first. I enjoyed dining in here.“

Will have to come back and try other dishes. Heard that they have a great lunch buffet. Worth checking out.

“The food was amazing and did a to go order when I arrived everything was ready. They’ve done redecorating to make the restaurant more diner friendly and appealing. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants good food on the go or dine in.

“We love our local Chinese takeout haunt. It’s not the fanciest Chinese around but they are super fast with your order and the portions are generous. Can’t beat it when we don’t feel like cooking and we can pick it up down the road in 10 minutes. The food is an excellent value for what you get. My husband and I particularly love the eggplant. I love their cheese wontons. Hot and sour soup is amazing. Their combos are great because you get rice and an eggroll or soup. The sauces are pretty generic and some dishes have been a little meh, and their fried rice isn’t really fried rice (more like yellow rice lacking any veggies or egg bits) but for the price you can’t beat it. If you want something spicy, make sure you ask because just because you see something is spicy on the menu doesn’t mean it will be. I ordered Hunan chicken and it looked nothing like Hunan, no chilies. The eggplant which wasn’t supposed to be spicy was spicier than my chicken. Pretty sure they just make up their own version of sauces for some dishes. I do like that they serve broccoli, carrot, onion etc with almost every stir fry. Next time I will ask for chilis if I want it spicy.“

And I’m also convinced that the chicken teriyaki is made out of chopped up grocery store rotisserie chicken (wouldn’t get this again personally). “Looks great, beautiful fountain in entrance, nicr comfortable seating. Theres alot to choose from and although some of my favorites were missing, they had plenty of substitutes. The food was pretty good, the only gripe is the seafood especially shrimp was a little too chewy, but otherwise most things seemed perfectly cooked. The servers were super attentive which was nice, never had a glass half empty, it was pretty empty due to weather but still.“

Egg drop soup is worth it, but the crackers were very stale. The real star is the entree here. I got shrimp with mixed vegetables, and it's 8.99 before tax for an egg roll and what you see in the picture, aka a LOT. The fried rice can stand on its own and WOW on the flavoe of the mixed veggies and shrimp!!“

“The best, absolute chicken wings I have had from any where. This place is outrageously good. The decor is poor, the staff is professional, and the kitchen looks clean as hell. Can not find a better place, I'm serious when I say the best chicken wings. They are not coated in sauce they are just amazing wings.“

“First time at this restaurant and a great experience!! Easy access, although parking is limited but that is the problem for the property owner to address. Quick greeting by a young friendly Asian girl, sat me, took order quick and it arrived quickly. Everything was fabulous on the food side and so was the service and when leaving was again greeted by staff for a come again please. I will be back.“

“I've only been here maybe once or twice but the food is always fresh, if you have a wait a few minutes it's because they are actually cooking the food. Today they were giving out samples of 2 new drinks.
