“I love the chocolate croissant and I had the double espresso. Both amazing tasting. The service was fantastic and fast. The lady was super nice to me and always had a smile ? ?. I wish everyone was nice like she was to me. I forgot her name but she was just amazing. In the past I did have the frozen coffee and I added Moca to it. That made it taste just like a chocolate shake and I think I should just keep getting those because they are dangerously good.“

“I’ve come in a few times and there is this barista I believe her name is MJ. I love coming in there when she’s there to either take my order and make it or just making it. I don’t usually comment on anything but that girl deserves some attention, I drive all the way from Tuscaloosa 4 times a week to see her there and if I walk in and she’s not there I will not be ordering. Her smile is so radiant and she always makes sure my drinks are made with love and care. Often times you can tell when a person doesn’t enjoy working MJ takes pride and enjoys her job!🤍😊“

“Don’t ever go to this location! Upon placing my order and pulling to the window, I handed the nice gentleman my card to pay (35.00 for 3 drinks!) I’m ok with spending that much as long as they are good drinks. Well I verified that there wasn’t be whip on them and the RUDE barista making the drinks( didn’t catch her name but I saw she was a taller woman, long dark hair, said very rudely when he reminded her of the whip “did he tip?” Now I’m sorry is it any of her business if I tipped or not? NO! She needs to stay in her lane, make My drinks and keep her comments to herself! I wasn’t given the option to tip in the first place. She needs to be knocked off of her high horse and learn to be humble and grateful she has a job. It’s people like her that make people refuse to go to certain places ever again! I WILL BE CONTACTING HIGHER mgmt about her lovely comment. Maybe she can go work somewhere where she doesn’t have to deal with the public. I know I would never want her to fix ANYTHING of mine with that nasty snotty entitled attitude!Do better Starbucks! Do better!“

“Great customer service. A clean, safe place. The atmosphere is welcoming and allows individuals to spend personal time well. Mrs. Aki Dale, Manager, Pleasant Caring Spirit, recalls customers' names and greets them personally. One act of kindness I witnessed was when an individual entered the store with a backpack that seemed to be filled with all he had, and he appeared to be homeless, but he carried himself with dignity. Another customer in the store spoke to Mrs. Dale about whether the person needed or wanted anything to eat or drink, to see to it that he received it and paid for it. From my perspective, the matter was handled professionally. It was obvious that a need was met without embarrassment, allowing this gentleman to maintain a sense of pride and

“My first time to order a coffee at the "new" Starbucks inside the remodeled Target. Starbucks was moved over to what was once the small in-store snack/cafeteria and it also got a nice remodel,. I ordered a regular coffee and the server asked if I wanted a flavor with it so I asked for vanilla and the drink was great - I really liked it as I have found most "regular" coffees in Starbucks are too bitter for my taste and required me to add much cream. This new Starbucks is nice, clean and lighting is great.“

“I was in a huge rush but was so glad I took a moment to stop at this Starbucks. I am new to the Birmingham area and the atmosphere and employees are very welcoming. Piper was taking orders at the drive through and her smile and welcoming nature was the highlight to my experience, (of course the drinks were amazing as well and did not disappoint) but Piper was definitely so sweet and I needed a smile and kindness, it’s nice to have met her today just before thanksgiving.“

Quickly an employee sweet as can be came out and helped me clean up while the other employee remade my coffee for FREE without me asking!! “such a great coffee shop! I sat here to do a little bit of work and the barista’s were super welcoming to everyone who entered! They asked about peoples holiday and how they were doing, it was a really sweet environment and I recommend the store very much!“

“I cannot lie, while I have mostly abandoned Starbucks altogether because of their far-left, corporate woke policies, especially where I live, I make an exception when traveling.Since I'm in south Birmingham staying at a Marriott off 280, this Starbucks location is close by. Got there at 0635 and was quickly waited upon and of course the White Chocolate mocha and breakfast sandwich and chocolate croissant were excellent, albeit pricey.Although when I get back home I will always seek out the small, independent coffee shops.“

“I’ve been to this site many times over the last 10 years. Always had a good experience. I had a very positive and unusual dine in experience on Sunday morning. The cashier was extremely engaging. Complementary. Genuine. Friendly. They served me with a real mug and a real plate. The barista actually brought it out to me. This is absolutely freaking amazing! Beautiful experience!“

“I stopped by Starbucks planning to order the new iced lavender cream matcha, but noticed they had ube in another new drink. I was trying to customize everything in the app (I always use it to avoid confusion at the speaker), but couldn’t quite figure out how to combine what I wanted.

My spouse suggested I just go through the drive thru and describe what I wanted, and I’m so glad I did. Nelly took care of us, and she was incredible. She was kind, patient, and immediately understood exactly what I was trying to create: my lavender cream matcha topped with ube (and extra ube!).

When we got to the window, she went above and beyond, she explained what ube is and even offered both of us a sample so we could try it. That level of care and thoughtfulness really stood out.

Hands down, Nelly is one of the best Starbucks employees I’ve ever encountered. She made me feel heard, informed, and genuinely cared for. If you ever get the chance to order from her, you’re in great hands. Thank you so much, Nelly!“

“This Starbucks is second in the Birmingham area only to the 119 location, because that location has more seating inside. But genuinely this has the best atmosphere and people working in the mornings/daytime. Super calm to sit and sip a coffee for hours. And the drive thru is sometimes packed, but the employees are never panicked.“

These guys delivered it without being asked twice.
The Meh — It's Starbucks — the menu is what it is. At 5am, surprise is not what you came for. No complaints. Nothing to add.
The People — Whoever decided to show up with a smile at this hour deserves recognition. Warm, efficient, zero attitude. The kind of quiet professionalism that makes a bleary-eyed early morning feel almost human.
