“My granddaughter and I recently dined at Chuck’s Fish to celebrate her graduation. The food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent. We had kimchi Brussels, uptown shrimp, and a delicious sushi roll. Then we really did it up big with the white chocolate bread pudding. The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. Can’t say enough about how delicious the meal was. One of the owners came to our table and checked on us to make sure we were being taken care of, which we were. I would highly, highly recommend this place!!!“

“Went yesterday for lunch. Service (Brent) was excellent. He was attentive but not intrusive. Had to explain certain items on the menu which he did without hesitation. Had fish and chips. Excellent. Would definitely recommend. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on menu.“

“I grew up in a time when there was only one Wintzell’s Oyster House and it was certainly a special place to go, even when I lived 100 miles away. I had to give this location a try as I was staying at a hotel right down the road.

I went there late and was promptly seated. I ordered the Broiled J. O. Platter with a side salad. The fresh salad came out right away. It wasn’t long before the entree appeared. Oh my goodness! All of it was tasty and fit well within my calorie budget.

Once again, Wintzell’s made a positive impression on me!“

The selection of seafood is great, the freshness is certainly evident and the staff cannot be more accommodating! Their delicious menu is certainly worth sitting down and staying awhile! “We've dined at the Dauphin's a few times before during previous visits to Mobile, AL and always enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, this recent visit during Memorial Day weekend was a bit of a letdown. While the service was okay, the food left much to be desired. The main issue was the white fish of the day limon style, which was overcooked ~ extremely dry and hard with a side of overcooked, slimey asparagus. This was quite disappointing, especially since it's a dish I've enjoyed here in the past. However, the rest of the items we ordered were pretty good, maintaining the quality I've come to expect. I have to add that portions are above average size so if you're looking to try dessert, you may want to skip appetizers. One consistent highlight is the view from the 34th floor, which is simply amazing and adds a wonderful ambiance to the dining experience, especially during sunset. The cocktail with thyme is also great. Overall, this visit was not as impressive as previous ones, but I hope it was just an off night for the kitchen. We may give it another chance due to the beautiful setting and the generally good food we've had in the past. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I'd only be able to give it 3 stars.“

“It’s been years since I’ve been to the Boiling Pot and I’m so glad we decided to visit on Tuesday. The food was EXCELLENT. Everything we ordered we enjoyed. We had a steamed platter, popcorn shrimp platter, shrimp and catfish platter and the crawfish bread. Everything was perfect, even the sides. The crawfish bread was insanely good. The prices were also quite reasonable. The shrimp was big, even the popcorn shrimp. I will definitely be back.“

“Awesome crab & shrimp. Great flavor and fresh. Crab pealed easily. Shrimp a little tougher but good.
Space very small. Only 2 tables but got lucky & snagged one.
Will definitely go again.

“If you’re looking for fresh seafood THIS IS THE PLACE!!! I have been coming here since they opened a few years ago. Very welcoming when you come in and always good food. I have never had a bad experience here EVER, I wouldn’t consider waiting a bad experience. I will forever buy my seafood here it’s just always cooked perfectly and nice and juicy (my favorite part). I have swapped my orders out recently as my lady and I both like the crawfish. I have been ordering the Steamed Shrimp meal and getting 6 or so pounds of crawfish to share which is perfect for us. There prices aren’t really any higher than anywhere else you go so to me that’s a win. Next time you go try the crawfish drenched in butter TO DIE FOR!“

“I Went Captain Ds on government street yesterday! (4/18/23)About 5ish drive thru! Customer services was amazing the drive thru young lady cashier was so friendly. The cooked had passion about his food you can tell how my food was plated in box up I order giant fish sandwich and 2pc Batter fish added shrimps and stuffed crabs! Everything was hot and fresh! They did marvelous job.“

“I recommend them for their drinks! The drinks are really good and worth the price you pay! The food on the other hand is usually good, but this specific visit I asked for no onions on my sandwich and they still put onions on it. I told the waiter that I said no onions and showed him where they had onions on it and he said oh OK and didn't come back to the table until 10 minutes later with some sauce I ordered. So I guess that just meant that my sandwich wasn't gonna get remade or anything, so I just picked out the onions, but it still smells like onions. Total bummer and waste of money at that point but I didn't wanna cause a scene. I'll say if you get your food check to make sure it's right because nothing was done for mine“
