“I ran into an issue this morning after I'd already ordered my food. I realized that I had forgotten my wallet for the first time in my life. But when I got to the window, I was told to come back in the next day to pay for it if I hadn't. I don't travel in Gurley very often, but on my way back, I stopped and tried to pay then. However, my phone wasn't working correctly. I was told "Don't worry about it. ". I know it wasn't but for a few dollars, but the humbleness of that manager to not only help me but trust me also helped me appreciate the peace and joy of some people. They're still out there, we just have to find them. What a wonderful person! I'll be stopping there more frequently when I travel through.”

“Visited to get some ice creams after hiking and rockhounding in the area. Everything was great, the staff was nice and helpful, they even had a couple little nice soft sofa chairs thingies to chill in while we enjoyed our frosty wonderland of a desert. was also a cool guy with some face tattoos that seemed like he was kicking butt and doing his job well.”

“While waiting for my husband to have a minor surgery, we decided to pop into this Whataburger and boy we are glad we did!! Our cashier, Dibriya was everything you want to have in a customer service setting! This young person took our order accurately with such a positive attitude. When the meal was ready, she brought the food straight to us, still piping hot!! The food both looked and tasted delicious. We will be coming back and will bring friends!!”

The burgers are amazing!! But this weekend they did a Low Country Boil special. Y’all this was the BEST I have ever had (and I’ve he’d the original, in the original state!) Chef Marko knows his craft! And the waitstaff and team are awesome!! Don’t miss one of their in-house scratch made desserts!!! (Midnight Chocolate Cake is my go-to, but this time I tried the Oatmeal Cream Pie) No matter what you get, it will be delicious!!”

“To start, I always enjoy the atmosphere here, I love the dim lighting. I'm always amazed by the staff and how amicable they are! Their food is always great! The salsa is spot on and so is the cheese dip! Lastly, the drinks here are delicious! If you haven't tried a cucumber margarita you need to! Ask for tajin on the rim and you will thank me later!”

“We went this morning for breakfast and it is hands down the best breakfast I have ever eaten! The grits were yummy, the biscuit was light and fluffy, the gravy was phenomenal and the eggs were cooked to perfection! They also have a good coffee selection too which was a nice surprise...if you haven't been by yet it's definitely worth the trip!”

“As close to what my Aunt Dora cooked as far as excellent cooking and authenticity available for Alabama. The Chili 🌶️ Colorado was more authentic when they first opened but they had to tame the flavors down to appeal to Alabama taste buds.”

“This is the best barbecue anywhere if you ask me! This time, we had 20 pounds ordered via catering and it was hot and ready for us to pick up on the day and time requested. Now, my fault for not checking before I left, but the sauces were not what I had ordered. I had ordered 4 bottles total. 1 white, 1 hot, 2 mild vinegar. I got 3 white and 1 hot. I live 40 minutes away from the closest Lawlers. Because I didn't check, I chose to drive all the way back the next day to exchange for the correct sauces. Most of my family doesn't really like the white sauce. So, my pics are of the bathrooms because we are the food! 😅”

“Literally the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life. My husband and I agree that we’ve never had pizza like this anywhere else. It’s genuinely just the best tasting. AND I usually only like super thick, doughy pizzas. This pizza is average thickness and is airy which is a texture I usually hate. But for whatever reason, how ever they make this pizza, it’s actually incredible this way. Idk man. Get the pizza tho.”
