“I was really excited for this place to open because I've always had to go to a location in Montgomery that is known for great seafood, cleanliness and service. I'll miss the guys in Montgomery but I've moved my business to Legacy which is closer to home and provides the same great service, product and cleanliness that I expect. I've bought meals, ordered large amounts of shrimp for multiple shrimp and have had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner from here. They always take great care of my family and EVERYBIDY raved about how good the rehearsal dinner was. It doesn't matter what you order, fish, BBQ, wings, shrimp, prepared or raw it's always fresh and always provides me with a high quality product. You definitely want to give these guys a chance, they won't let you down.“

“I was there for a workshop. I ordered my steak well done, but it was medium rare. YUCK.. The mash potatoes was good so was the broccoli. A lady at my table said NO to the salmon. My guest was not satisfied. Nice workshop, I will consider going back maybe to the bar..“
“Hands down best restaurant in Prattville. Nothing comes close to this unique local gem. Uncle Micks is traditional Cajun fare done right! Mick is from Louisiana and it shows in the kitchen. Plates are $10-$20 depending on what you get and you cannot leave hungry. He won't let you!If I could give it 6 stars I would.“
“29 Feb 2024: Another amazing dinner with our friends at VY. I had the Pekin duck breast with Madeira brazed mushrooms, simply outstanding. Impeccable service as well and s strawberry cheesecake to die for!31 March 2022 update: We just came back again after a over a year avoiding restaurants bc of COVID - as great as ever! We sat on the patio, enjoyed live music, and had an amazing dinner!We started with fresh oysters and cocktails, proceeded to the catch of the day #alabamaseafood and enjoyed a bottle of Rosé, together with our two friends who also had an awesome experience with fish selections, redfish and grouper - super fresh and delicious!Kudos to Sara - she kept our group well-served with bevs and even got the bar to serve a nice louched absinthe on request. Also so nice to see AJ is still there and him saying hi, was a nice treat!2020: Just had an amazing take out dinner for 4 for $50 from Vintage Year(prime rib for 4, salad, and dessert=dinner and lunch for us), Please support our awesome restaurants and their families during these times!Check out their coronavirus takeout menu. “Went to dinner tonight 11-19-2023. It was fabulous the gentleman who waiting on us was so helpful and kind. Food was delicious my husband had the grouper, my mom had the Baja shrimp tacos, and I had the honey pecan shrimp. All of our sides were great! Everything was very tasty. “One of Alabama's best seafood spots near the capital!Customer service: we were aided by the youngest daughter with our order. She was well-spoken, knowledgeable about the menu by heart (even the ever-changing daily menu), and patient. Just this section alone received a 6/5. The rest of the family is very accommodating. The mother made sure that I had a comfortable amount of heat to my sauce. Food: we ordered the 1lb snow crab boil and the fish basket. Both were fresh and seasoned well. Not much to say here; it was perfect. You won't be disappointed. Atmosphere: you can tell they have repeat customers because some of the patrons came in as if they were at their relative's house. It was beautiful. Definitely a place I can support. This place looks like the typical seafood shop, so expect just that. No frills, and amazing food. Would I recommend? Already have.Will I be back? “This was our first time eating here. Upon pulling up, my husband was a little skeptical, but I told him I'd seen FB friends post about going here and it was fine. We proceeded to go in, we were right before dinner rush, so got seated immediately. Our waitress was super friendly. I can't remember her name, but she made drink suggestions and answered any questions we had about the menu. She even allowed us to move from the inside seating to outside, when a table became available (this was shortly after being seated and we only had our waters). We ordered our appetizers: gator tail, gumbo and crawfish cream sauce and she said she'd wait because we might be full. Well, we wanted the whole experience so when we got our appetizers we placed our entree order. She was right! We were already stuffed! When our food came, catfish platter and a 1/2 order of fried oysters, and chicken fingers, we sampled each item and the sides, but ultimately had to get a to go box. My husband was very impressed at the size of catfish and said they were so good. It was just an overall wonderful experience. The sun was setting and the scenery was beautiful. We even got to speak to a gentleman as we left, that we feel was the owner. He asked about our experience and told us that Sundays are when they have the live band. We will definitely be going back. It's not often you have such a pleasant experience and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy their job.“
“The Cajun seafood is awesome. Plentiful for the price. Pleasant atmosphere with no wait on a Saturday night. Very laid back wait staff. Took a quick second to be noticed and seated. Good came out hot and delicious. Fast turnaround in ordering to having food.“
“Food is good.This is a smoking establishment. Smells like stale smokes even when no one is smoking. They do have tables outside. Lunch menu is a meat and 3 not what's on website menu. Poppyseed chicken was great and Mac and cheese very good.“
“I went to Catfish House on a Thursday night with my husband. There were a lot of people there for a week night, but we only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and helpful with the menu. They bring hush puppies, Cole slaw, and white beans for the table. The hush puppies were great! We each ordered a combo. I had chicken and the catfish fillet plus a side. My husband had the chicken and shrimp. There was so much food! We took plenty home for lunch the next day. I would definitely recommend Catfish House. Get there early.“
