“Just ate at The White House Restaurant in Warrior, Alabama AGAIN! The food is always delicious! Today we had the seafood special that they have on Saturdays and it was awesome. My husband and I had flounder, shrimp, stuffed crab, hush puppies, coleslaw, and a baked potato. Wow! Scrumptious meal and so much of it that I’m stuffed. Maria was our server this evening and even though the restaurant was packed and super busy she kept a smile on her face while taking care of us and everyone around us. We were super pleased with the service and the food!“

Fries and Tots too, both of out meals were good, friendly people behind the counter too. Looks like they have a good variety of other standards for this type of small restaurant. “It's in the middle of the city basically and, they do give military discounts so I got 15% off military discount babe I mean the food's not to die for but the food is good, it's better than you can make it home, but it's expensive. And I mean I believe that it's more expensive than your average restaurant, I mean it's not McDonald's either so, you get better food for the same price then you would at McDonald's but it's still $20 to go in there and eat and so I just think that that's getting too expensive I guess it's comparable to anywhere else, but it's still ridiculous“

“OMGOSH!!!! I ate at Steel City last night (12/21/22) as I am staying on property at the HI. We had a party of six. EVERY ORDER WAS SUPERB!! I had the grilled pork chops, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes! Delicious!!! The pork chops - yes two came on my order - were grilled to perfection! They were great cuts and TENDER! The mac and cheese and the potatoes were both homemade and delightfully seasoned! I almost asked the waiter if the cook was married! I want to carry him home with me!? Two adults in our party had Philly steak and cheese; two children had flatbread pizza - one cheese and one pepperoni - and our 15 year old had a burger with mushrooms EACH PERSON RAVED OVER THEIR MEAL. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT AND NICE PORTIONS!!! We are good cooks and we know good food!!!! Do not think twice - eat at Steel City!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!! PS We are eating there again today before our flight to Florida?“

“When I go to Topgolf, I typically have a great time but last night I was disgusted me and two friends went there to eat and have a good time we went into the restaurant. We waited an hour before anyone even spoke to us then when we stopped a few of the workers one guy with dreads that was working the bar with a red shirt on, he was rude. When I asked did he work there and when I asked him to get us a server he ignored me after several attempts to get an employee to come, Services us savanna a server came to the table after 45 minutes of trying her best to ignore us and several other customers and asked the drink orders but at this point we’re ordering food as well long story short we spent we came in at 9 didn’t leave the restaurant part until 1130 and missed our spot at the golf course. When we asked for the check that took 45 minutes even though it was almost empty in the place. It seem like no manager cared or just wasn’t present the place was being ran by kids and it was horrible.“

“We went bc it was the only place open. We haven't been to this location before but we swore off Applebee's well over a decade ago after giving them several chances to redeem themselves. We didn't have high expectations at all but the server was great, everything came pretty quick, it was all hot AND tasted great. We were pleasantly surprised. And the bill was about 30% less than anywhere else we would have gone to sit down. Only thing I could say needs work is the actual physical restaurant itself. You can tell it's been there awhile and the carpet is yucky looking. Repairs and remodel are definitely needed. But we even said we would go back again soon and it's been almost 20 yrs since we've declared that in reference to this place. All 5 of us ate at around 12$/ea, before tip.“

“I called prior to heading to the location . I was told order would be ready in 10 minutes . I headed over to pick up my order due to me being more than 20 minutes away . I get there and still have to wait 20 minutes for my order . I had to ask for Ranch and Celery that is supposed to come with it . Had to wait for them to get some ready . Mind you my order was placed on Wednesday. I requested all of this with my order. They gotta do better with this . I don’t like the fact that your advertised price is $39.99 then you add 8.51 for getting traditional chicken wings . Nowhere does it say there will be an up charge for ordering traditional wings . $53. 35 was my total .“

I felt bad this particular visit because I was asking for substitutions, additions, and Exactly how I wanted my hashbrowns! The 2 gentleman never sighed, raised a brow, or got upset..The 2 , Cook and Server, performed as if I were the D.M. or w/Cooperate! I don't know if I have Ever had a "NO COMPLAINT " Experience from this franchise or the other ones similar to, but it was PERFECT! From the greeting to the last bite! It would have been nice to dine in but for whatever reason, I was unable to just like the others who came while I was there. Thanks! I Highly recommend this location.“
