“Just ate at The White House Restaurant in Warrior, Alabama AGAIN! The food is always delicious! Today we had the seafood special that they have on Saturdays and it was awesome. My husband and I had flounder, shrimp, stuffed crab, hush puppies, coleslaw, and a baked potato. Wow! Scrumptious meal and so much of it that I’m stuffed. Maria was our server this evening and even though the restaurant was packed and super busy she kept a smile on her face while taking care of us and everyone around us. We were super pleased with the service and the food!“

“Locally owned, hole in the wall venue, friendly service, amazing breakfast! Highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by and visit at least once. The fried pork chop and egg breakfast is second to none. The western or meat lovers omelette is absolutely delicious! The French toast is not for the diabetic with its extremely flavorful cinnamon and powdered sugar topping. Another recommended breakfast choice is asking for grilled toast, you'll think me later!

“Y'all um at hamburger heaven eating breakfast. When I tell y'all this food is delicious. The gravy and biscuits is super delicious. Our server was super patient with us because we couldn't make up our mind because everything sounded delicious. If y'all in the gardendale area and y'all get hongry stop on by hamburger heaven for breakfast lunch and dinner with their full menu all day (I think). Blessing love and safety to all.

“It had been a long time since we had a sneaky Pete's hot dog, so, we stopped at a drive thru at Forestdale. I got two chili cheese 🧀 dogs with fries 🍟, my wife got two sneaky Pete's, and i ate one.of them! They were really good and the 🍟 were hot 🔥 it was just a good lunch! “OMGOSH!!!! I ate at Steel City last night (12/21/22) as I am staying on property at the HI. We had a party of six. EVERY ORDER WAS SUPERB!! I had the grilled pork chops, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes! Delicious!!! The pork chops - yes two came on my order - were grilled to perfection! They were great cuts and TENDER! The mac and cheese and the potatoes were both homemade and delightfully seasoned! I almost asked the waiter if the cook was married! I want to carry him home with me!? Two adults in our party had Philly steak and cheese; two children had flatbread pizza - one cheese and one pepperoni - and our 15 year old had a burger with mushrooms EACH PERSON RAVED OVER THEIR MEAL. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT AND NICE PORTIONS!!! We are good cooks and we know good food!!!! Do not think twice - eat at Steel City!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!! PS We are eating there again today before our flight to Florida?“

“6/18/25 we ate here at the Longhorn in Gardendale Alabama restaurant for our anniversary and everything was great. We did not have to wait for a booth , took right back and were seated. Brittney let us know that Joseph would be right there in a minute or two and he was. Thank you Brittney. !!
Joseph was right there in about 2 minutes. He was very helpful on drinks we were asking about. Joseph and Brittney were very polite and helpful. Longhorn needs more waiters/ waitress like these two . Thank you for their kindness and hospitality“
