Husband got my favorite, the Caramelized Vanilla Latte and I got an Iced Strawberry Preserves latte. While I enjoyed mine, it could have used more strawberry “pop” of flavor as it fell a little flat the longer I drank it. That said, I’ll stick with my fav. :)

“I was in Alabama for work this week and went to this location multiple times daily for my must-have morning/afternoon coffee.

I got the seasonal coconut vanilla latte, it was incredible! Espresso was never burnt, the color was perfect- if you know what I mean- and tasted like coffee still. Staff was so welcoming and friendly in each visit. 1100% recommend!!“

“I’m not a coffee drinker. But a local chef(shout out to Whitney Simone!) I follow and patronize raved about Rochelle’s grit bowl, so I decided to try breakfast here. I wished that it was advertised that breakfast was sold here because I always thought this place was just a coffee spot. Anyway, I was sooooo impressed with the cuteness of the decor inside. It felt very cozy and intimate. Soft music played in the background. I love the branding on the cups and other merchandise for purchase. Upon entering, my friend and I were greeted warmly. We placed our orders and found a place to sit. The seats were comfy and a bright red that matched the theme of it also being a lounge. There was a little free library where you could take home a free book. There were several small tvs available to watch. Our food came out after a short wait. Yall….my grit bowl was absolutely splendid! The grits were creamy and perfect- not too thick, not too thin. The meats were delicious as were the eggs. My friend enjoyed his pancakes but also wanted to try the grit bowl after hearing me rave about mine. After he devoured his, he agreed that it was just as good as I told him it was. My peach smoothie came in this cute little sealed cup with the branding on it. I love a business that doesn’t skip on the branding! I enjoyed my experience here 100% and I’m even thinking of returning tomorrow morning for breakfast! One thing I would improve: I hope the owners consider advertising that they sell breakfast as well. Folks like me that may not be coffee drinkers but who love breakfast will gladly patronize the business…if we know they sell more than coffee. Overall, this place earned my 5 stars.“

“Went on Jackpot Day to get the needoh type squishy. Got there at 11:30, sat in the line, ordered the required 2 medium drinks and paid, then when I got around to actually pick up my drinks, they said they were out of the squishys and we could choose a rubber bracelet or a koozy. The service and drinks were great - no complaints there - but I would have preferred they told us when we ordered that there were no more squishys because that would have changed what we ordered!“

“Their lattes taste a step above most coffee shops. You can tell they value quality over quantity with their espresso and how they make their seasonal syrups. They have very unique seasonal drinks as well. Also their empanadas are pretty dang good. Ill be back for sure.“

“It was our first visit to Lee’s and we will be back! The staff was incredibly welcoming upon entering, answered all my questions, and gave me a great suggestion for a BYOL. I got banana and dulche and it was divine! A little sweet but the espresso was still there and delightful. My friend got a blackberry cobbler latte and I tried theirs, will be getting that our next visit, AMAZING. Opal also enjoyed her pup cup and the staff were so kind even though she was a little rambunctious. The patio was perfectly shaded, and the inside of the shop was so neat. 10/10!! So glad we stopped in today.“

“Came in for a bagel and an oat milk latte. The staff was nice and the service was quick. I didn't get any utensils to spread my cream cheese, and I asked for it extra toasted and it was very lightly toasted. Still decent. The coffee was very good but nothing special. Kinda pricey for just a bagel and a latte, though not necessarily overpriced, just too of the range. Also, they don't post prices anywhere so the cost was quite a surprise. I wasn't too worried about it and I still tipped well, but I just think they could do better with that.

It was very cold in the store, but they have outside seating, which I enjoyed. Cute enough spot.

I would breakfast here again.“

“Lively! I am not from Birmingham but I am a coffee lover. From Orlando but, I wanted to see something new for a change from the normal city life. Noticed there were allot of coffee shops here than in any city I’ve been to which made it hard to decide on which one I liked to visit more but something about the atmosphere caught my attention. It was quite which made it easier to work. The environment even though it was quiet it felt inviting. The glass made allot of natural light come in and I loved being able to enjoy a good view while working. I definitely would come again even if it’s to relax. Unfortunate I’m not from here. “Colette was a very good server. Food was above average. Bloody Mary wasn't worth the $10.00. However, we get our bill and we are being charged $2.00, a piece, for a biscuit..... WTH??? The menu never mentioned an additional charge for a biscuit, toast, or etc... I even told the brunette waitress that looked like a manager but she was probably the dishwasher. “Great tiny local bakery with some absolutely killer pastries when you're craving a little something sweet. We've had the croissants, pecan sticky buns, and fruit danishes - and all have been great. Every time we go we've tried something different and nothing is ever short of quality. Very small interior, basically just room for a few people to stand and the counter - but we don't really care about sitting inside, just be aware if that's your plan - there's no seating. Ladies behind the counter are always patient and kind.“

Handling drinks while touching your face can make customers uneasy, especially when it comes to food safety. I hope management addresses this so future visits feel cleaner and more professional.
