“I’m not a coffee drinker. But a local chef(shout out to Whitney Simone!) I follow and patronize raved about Rochelle’s grit bowl, so I decided to try breakfast here. I wished that it was advertised that breakfast was sold here because I always thought this place was just a coffee spot. Anyway, I was sooooo impressed with the cuteness of the decor inside. It felt very cozy and intimate. Soft music played in the background. I love the branding on the cups and other merchandise for purchase. Upon entering, my friend and I were greeted warmly. We placed our orders and found a place to sit. The seats were comfy and a bright red that matched the theme of it also being a lounge. There was a little free library where you could take home a free book. There were several small tvs available to watch. Our food came out after a short wait. Yall….my grit bowl was absolutely splendid! The grits were creamy and perfect- not too thick, not too thin. The meats were delicious as were the eggs. My friend enjoyed his pancakes but also wanted to try the grit bowl after hearing me rave about mine. After he devoured his, he agreed that it was just as good as I told him it was. My peach smoothie came in this cute little sealed cup with the branding on it. I love a business that doesn’t skip on the branding! I enjoyed my experience here 100% and I’m even thinking of returning tomorrow morning for breakfast! One thing I would improve: I hope the owners consider advertising that they sell breakfast as well. Folks like me that may not be coffee drinkers but who love breakfast will gladly patronize the business…if we know they sell more than coffee. Overall, this place earned my 5 stars.“

“We are lucky to have a place like this in Birmingham! My *only* change would be to get rid of the longer tables and cap groups at 4 people for indoor seating for listening parties- bigger groups inherently have louder conversations and sometimes that can interfere slightly with the “intentional listening” experience.
Food is consistent and reasonably priced, the drinks are well made, and the service is friendly, but go for the music!“

“The coffee was more bitter than sweet. The avocado toast was excellent!!! 10/10. They need to add more for the smaller toddlers in the play room and when I visited lots of older children were playing ruff in the area. I also wish they would extend there hours, they close too soon in the evenings.“

“I usually enjoy 7 Brew drinks, but my recent visit was disappointing. The server brought my drink out while digging in his mouth, which felt unprofessional and unhygienic. Handling drinks while touching your face can make customers uneasy, especially when it comes to food safety. I hope management addresses this so future visits feel cleaner and more professional. Overall the drinks are great, but the service experience needs improvement.“

“This coffee is located inside the Region's center downtown and open to the public. The ladies who run and manage the place are amazing and always have a smile on their faces. “Lively! I am not from Birmingham but I am a coffee lover. From Orlando but, I wanted to see something new for a change from the normal city life. Noticed there were allot of coffee shops here than in any city I’ve been to which made it hard to decide on which one I liked to visit more but something about the atmosphere caught my attention. It was quite which made it easier to work. The environment even though it was quiet it felt inviting. The glass made allot of natural light come in and I loved being able to enjoy a good view while working. I definitely would come again even if it’s to relax. Unfortunate I’m not from here. Anyone who enjoys coffee I highly recommend to come here.“

“Best pastry shop in Alabama! I dropped by this morning to get a ham & cheese croissant and an apple danish. I devoured them both. One bite of the croissant and dozens of crisp flaky shards fell into my lap. It was perfect. The apple danish was like an elevated apple pie. I’m not sure what type of cream was under the apples, but I loved it. Hello Bakery is a must visit if you’re in Birmingham. Also, the shop owner (I’m assuming) was very kind. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in town.“

“Colette was a very good server. Food was above average. Bloody Mary wasn't worth the $10.00. However, we get our bill and we are being charged $2.00, a piece, for a biscuit..... WTH??? The menu never mentioned an additional charge for a biscuit, toast, or etc... I even told the brunette waitress that looked like a manager but she was probably the dishwasher. “I had the chipotle tex-mex bowl with brown rice and chicken. It was probably the best bowl I had in a long time, all the ingredients went together really well and the sauce was, wow. Service was good and the food was ready in under 5 min. Will definitely come back.“

“I recently had gastric sleeve surgery and have had a terrible time trying to find stuff to drink that is calorie free and no artificial sweeteners. A friend suggested that I try the tropical tea. I did and I was hooked!! Their customer service is amazing and when my order was put on back order, they were so friendly and did everything they could to get my order pushed through.“

“I am a 7 Brew lover and have been for awhile now. I basically begged the mayor for one here. I’m so happy that we finally have a location closer so I don’t have to drive 30 mins one way for a drink. Yes, this one is a little slow.. but I don’t mind the wait. I can see how that would be annoying for some people though. It has definitely gotten better recently. “Nice location, and very nice staff. I spent about $20 for a specialty drink + a nice sized sandwich + tip. Coffee selection is very basic, they have a few fun/seasonal drinks but nothing crazy or exciting. Food menu is also simple, and I don’t think I saw any prices listed on the TV screen for the food items. I did like that my sandwich was made to order—already better than Starbucks!“

“Stopped here for espresso and a coffee. The employees were very friendly and the space is large with a lot of seating. It looks like this building used to be a Pizza Hut or China Buffet and they repurposed it.

Big outdoor seating, plenty of parking. I ordered a hot mint latte with oat milk and my husband ordered a decaf Cortado. The coffee is my mint latte is mild, tasted a little watered down. My husband said his Cortado was good, better than Starbucks.“

“My first time to order a coffee at the "new" Starbucks inside the remodeled Target. Starbucks was moved over to what was once the small in-store snack/cafeteria and it also got a nice remodel,. I ordered a regular coffee and the server asked if I wanted a flavor with it so I asked for vanilla and the drink was great - I really liked it as I have found most "regular" coffees in Starbucks are too bitter for my taste and required me to add much cream. This new Starbucks is nice, clean and lighting is great.“
