“Good place but completely crowded. Wish parking was better. We got honked at by some lanky guy while trying to park. He refused to make eye contact with us after realizing we were going to the same place. Seriously though, parking is a nightmare.“

“I have been hearing from multiple people around me for a while about a breakfast/ brunch place in Cahaba Heights, Biscuit Love so I decided to give it a try. I loved the atmosphere. It was bright and the staff seemed to be very welcoming. I did go during peak brunch time so the wait was a little while but it was not too bad considering the time. Their menu was also pretty big for them to be a brunch place, but that was good! I decided to get a butter biscuit, hash browns, and some orange juice. The biscuit was not as soft as I was expecting it to be but still pretty good. The hashbrowns and orange juice were my favorite part of them. The orange juice was very refreshing. Overall, I would go there again because everyone was very friendly, the atmosphere was great and so was the food!“

The Alabama Biscuit Co., Rocky Ridge Breakfast • $
2518 Rocky Ridge Rd, Vestavia Hills

“Let's get this bread! I stopped by Alabama Biscuit for the 1st time the other day. Alabama Biscuit has 2 locations, White Oak Dr in Cahaba Heights & Rocky Ridge Rd in Vestavia. I visited the Rocky Ridge location. They serve breakfast & lunch along with coffees, teas & fresh squeezed OJ. Alabama Biscuit's specialty is fresh baked biscuits made from stone-ground sprouted spelt flour & local dairy products. I ordered the Bacon du Jour featuring house apple butter, sliced local apple, conecuh bacon, farm egg, grass-fed cheddar, grain mustard & shaved fennel. The 1st thing I noticed was the lovely presentation. The saying, "you eat with your eyes first", is absolutely correct. It tasted as amazing as it looks..super interesting flavor profile with the saltiness of the conecuh bacon, sweetness from the apple & apple butter, sharpness of the cheddar, creaminess of the egg & mild anise flavor of the fennel. Together it created the perfect harmony for the palate. The grain mustard definitely enhanced it as well. The actual biscuit itself was also extraordinary. Nice & fluffy, but sturdy enough to hold up to all the ingredients. I was pretty impressed by Alabama Biscuit. Service was friendly & helpful. You order at the counter & your meal is brought to you. Relaxed atmosphere. When I posted this place on my story, a few of you reached out to me & recommended the Croque Madame, which I'll definitely have to try next time. I gave up caffeine long ago, but the coffee smelled amazing & I imagine it's excellent. Really glad this place isn't far from home. I'll definitely be back!“

OHenry's Coffees Coffee Shops •

“A brew of good times awaits you at O.Henry’s.O.Henry’s coffee in Vestavia Hills is like a wonderland of coffee and sweets. Aside from the delicious coffee and dreamy treats, O.Henry’s has a perfect environment for working, relaxing, or simply, just a lunch with friends.Arriving at about 10:00 am, I walked in to a very clean and orderly coffee shop with some of my family, not knowing what to expect. The atmosphere was friendly and busy with courteous staff. After struggling with a mental battle of what to get from the large menu of coffees, sandwiches, snacks, and even the sweet treats in the window. Not long after, I was sitting down. And after that it was only minutes before my food and coffee were ready. The coffee came first and it was perfect. Having ordered a black coffee and me, enjoying a darker and stronger roast, it was all it could have been and even with the perfect temperature. Moments later the muffin arrived. After taking it out of the bag, I held it in my hand. The warm and aromatic muffin in my hand was too much for me to hold for much longer, so before even taking off the wrapper, I took a bite in to the top of it. The taste of the melted chocolate in the chocolate cappuccino muffin was so wonderful. Warmed to the correct temperature and being very large, it was just what I had asked for. After enjoying all these things, my family and I sat down to work and study. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast. With lovely outdoor seating as well as nice stores near by, it is a great are to hang out with friends and family. Around 10:45 we wrapped up and were given salutations from the staff. My name is Peyton. I had to write a review for my homeschool grammar. After coming by this morning I wrote this.
