“We stopped in for lunch,while visiting Trussville, Alabama. The establishment was clean and quite tidy even with the high volume of customers. We did enjoyed a delicious meal. My hubby ordered the Fat boy burrito and I two tacos(cheezy beef and redneck) both are served with chips and salsa. We each enjoyed a refreshingly tasty margarita, a perfect compliment to the meal. “Swung by this place around 9pm and was throughly impressed! I ordered 3 tacos (carnitas, Al pastor, campechano) and they were fantastic. All were well filled and surprising very hot and fresh even at this hour. I actually had to let them cool off after almost burning my mouth on the Al pastor. I will definitely be back to try some lengua/beef cheek tacos and would recommend this truck over a few others I’ve had in town!“

We got the nachos for an appetizer for five of us and it was really big, I think it could be shared with even more . We also got their guacamole, it won't disappoint, delicious !“

“The food was hot and flavorful and didn't take too long to prepare. The chimichanga was nicely browned/ crisp as I like it. The chicken was shredded thoroughly and was tender and juicy with a hint of pepper heat , with only sparse pieces mingled in the filling.The prices for the lunch special were reasonable. I believe that this dish, which comes with rice and beans, is usually covered in cheese alone, though they happily added tomatoes for me. The cashier served me and another couple who ate in, and several customers picked up lunch orders. I believe the chandeliers must be remnants of the old Hickory House that originally occupied that building as they clash a bit aesthetically with the heavy and brightly painted ,carved furniture. The bench sit was very comfortable. The large space filled with light. But there seemed to be a bit of a cold draft nearest the windows. It's hard to tell, though, as the ceiling fans were still all running on high up in the high ceiling . I was especially pleased with the flavorful rice as it is the first I've ever had at any Mexican restaurant that was spiced/tomato sauced heavy enough. Overall, I believe I will visit again when in the area.“
