“First time visit last night. Holy cow. Talk about amazing food. Ordered the Palmero (sp) pizza and salad. I felt like I was in Italy. The ingredients are so fresh tasting. Cant say enough about their pizza. Thin crust. Able to enjoy the pizza and not have a mouth full of bread. Fast service. Love the professionalism of the owner / bakers. They had on a chef coats and “Italy” caps. The place was extremely clean and VERY inviting. My friend that I went with used the facilités and she came out and was remarking how awesome the bathrooms even were. Def will be eating there again and again. Welcome to Trussville.“

“This past weekend, we went to Pizza Grace because the original owners sold it to the owners of Big Spoon Creamery. So, out of fear and curiosity, we wanted to see if our favorite pizza place was still our favorite pizza place. Let’s just start. The garlic bread they switched the focaccia with pizza dough, spread fairly thin so it was light and crispy and they swapped the garlic oil for garlic butter with herbs. This was actually really good! We both enjoyed it and thought the flavor of the butter was way better than the original garlic olive oil spread. However, I think they should have kept the focaccia bread and just swapped the olive oil with the garlic and herb butter. That would have been an easy 10/10. But unfortunately, even though it was still very good, it gets an 8.5/10. The pizza itself was still basically the same. We got the pepperoni pizza. Upon arrival and tasting, we could tell they cut back on the red pepper flakes, which we were both happy about. Our main issue was the fact that we could tell, visually, the pizza was smaller and not as big as it used to be. We didn’t like that we were paying basically the same price for less pizza. I’d recommend either making the pizzas bigger again or lowering the price. This also would have been a 10/10, but we’re taking off points for the pizza being visibly smaller and giving it a 9.5/10. For dessert, I got the Big Spoon Bar, which has fior di latte, salted caramel, TCHO chocolate, sea salt, and hazelnut in it. No notes here easy 10/10. I literally could not complain. First bite was heaven! All in all, this was very good with only a few minor disappointments. Is this still my favorite pizza place? Yes. Will I return? Yes, I will but I also think it depends on whether they adjust the price or return the pizza to its original size. That’s literally just how we feel since we’ve been going there for years. “Vecchia’s overall is amazing! Delicious food, a variety of beverages, great atmosphere and most of all a superb staff! In addition, they offer throughout the week live music entertainment, 1/2 off wine on Wednesday, kid’s eat free on Tuesdays, Cooking classes, and bouncy house for kiddos on the weekends. “They made a reservation and some of our people were early, of everyone in our party had to wait for everyone to get there and all walk in together. So some of our people were late and they canceled our reservations it’s my Grandson 16th Birthday Party!! I tried to order my Grandson a pizza, I was told it would be 20 minutes for one large pepperoni and sausage pizza after 25 minutes, I was told it would be 20 more minutes, we were all ready having to go find somewhere else to eat!!! I had to get my money back and wait on the manager to ok everything . So no food and 16th Birthday party ruined!!!“

“Decided to try this place yesterday. They are not dine in from what I saw so I ordered it through Uber Eats and had it delivered. This place had been recommended to me so I figured I'd try it. I got 1 bacon pizza, 1 Pepperoni, and a order of Buffalo wings. I'm not going to sugarcoat this. This pizza was mid at best it was just okay. Reminded me of generic pizza, like if you told me it was frozen pizza I'd believe you. It was like when Little Ceasars use to be bad because we all know they have gotten a lot better over the years. The pizza was really doughy. Like right on the verge of being raw dough. They put the toppings under the cheese so it was like I only had cheese pizza on one of them. It was a floppy mess and the sauce overpowered everything. Couldn't taste the Pepperoni or bacon and the cheese was a bit bland. 6/10 The wings were pretty good even though they ignored how I wanted them cooked. I wanted them extra well done like the option gave me on the app. We did not get that. They were a bit soggy but I have to admit they were still pretty good. Whatever Buffalo sauce they use absolutely said it. 7/10 All in all this place was decent but this would be low on my list of ever spending my money here again. I have been trying to try this place for awhile and when I finally did it was a huge let down.“

“My husband and i dined in here for the first time tonight… After a little Christmas shopping, our 13-year-old wanted pizza so we decided to try this place… We do not regret our decision… The atmosphere was warm and inviting… The hostess was sweet and accommodating… Our Server was Lauren… She was precious absolutely perfect… My husband and I split the Caesar salad, which was delicious… I chose the big Hawaiian and he went with the good paulie so we could share… Our 13-year-old is a picky eater so he just got the cheese, but it was also outstanding… The general manager myles came to our table not once but twice and spoke with us and made sure everything was perfect which we assured him that it was… The skinny margarita was also phenomenal… very satisfied experience and will definitely be back… If I could give more than five stars, I would!!!“

“Today is Veterans Day 2021. We went to the Trussville CiCis around 2:30pm. Robby was the manager in charge and he was extra helpful! He was very apologetic about not having enough food out on the buffet. He explained the situation but he had it all under control. Food started coming out quickly and was prepared very well. Robby kept checking on all of the customers in the restaurant and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was satisfied! The entire staff was on their toes! My father and all of the other servicemen that came in during that time were thanked for there service and made to feel very welcome.“

“Edit: after two unstellar experiences lately (awful wine by the glass, not-so-welcoming service and subpar pizza) I'm lowering the rating.
To me, Luca delivers the best pasta in town. Great quality and cooked al dente for real (not American al dente). Overall the food quality is good, and although it isn't cheap, wine prices are below average which keeps the total tab at a reasonable-ish figure. Service can be a bit slow but always very nice and professional. We have kids and like to stay in the market area, which is quieter and chiller.“

The Domino’s insurance is only for carryout but the manager in Birmingham, AL at the Highway 280 location was kind enough to send a replacement. Now that’s customer service!!!!!!
