“My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

“My husband and I have been coming to orange beach for 25 years. Tonight was our first visit to Louisiana Lagniappe. I am a go to filet and lobster tail kinda girl, OMG! “Arriving we told the hostess we were going to have to eat quickly because our dogs were in the vehicle with the engine running. She told us we could dine on the Pooch Porch with our dogs. It was a beautiful day and the waiter was great Took excellent care of us. We order grilled platter and fried platter. Food was fresh, hot and so delicious. Going back this week for boiled shrimp and gumbo with our babies on the porch“

“Behind the restaurant is 2 bars. One is Karaoke, the 2nd has a DJ and the dance floor is always full on Friday or Saturday nights! I have partied on both sides & everyone was having a blast every time I have been here. The DJ bar (Live Bait) charged 40 a person to get in. I believe some well know DJ was there. The Tiki bar with Karaoke is free entry.“

“2024.07.14 - Had a great time on a friends boat in the Bear Point Harbor. The harbor is clean and well kept. Slips are nice. Shore power comes in all types of connectors. Lots of parking in a gravel lot acrpss from the slips. The OSO restaurant is super convenient after a long day on the boat to relax and eat tasty food. Lots of SeeDoos to rent if your interested. Fun time at night with live bands and drinks at OSO. Porta potties for members only inside the fencing are nice and well kept. Look forward to another visit to the Bear Point Harbor.“

“We finally had some time available to try CoastAL! We have heard great things since it opened and have been wanting to try it out. It was great! We have been cooking at our condo lately because we are tired of spending a ton of money on food that we can duplicate at home. We were all very pleased with the food! I got the blackened grouper (I did ask for them to not over use the blackening seasoning because this tends to happen), my mom got the grilled grouper, husband got the Jumbalaya, dad got the Signature CoastAL burger, kids both got the popcorn shrimp. Everyone loved their meals! The fries y'all! These fries are amazing! I know, everyone serves fried stuff with fries on the beach, but these were REALLY good!! The fish dishes and Jumbalaya did not come with fries, we were stealing the kids fries lol. We got the raw oysters to start the evening too, very good and fresh - only thing I'd add is a separate horseradish instead of just cocktail sauce, some people like it spicier. Our son even had the oysters (10yo). I accidentally left my purse there, so we had to go back the next day, so we had lunch on the patio side and that was really good too!! BTW all contents of my purse were there including cash. Husband had the fried chicken sandwich and I had the fried shrimp tacos - both were VERY good! Our son had the cheeseburger and daughter had the friend shrimp again lol. They both really liked their meals too! Our son is pretty picky about cheeseburgers and he said it was really good! Overall - we definitely recommend!! Both servers we had were very friendly and helpful with the menu - Dakota on Saturday night and Hannah (I could possibly have that name completely wrong) on Sunday afternoon. Drinks are great too!! Oh AND they are great with presentation both with the food and drinks!! Beautifully done!! They have A TON of seating, and we did not have a wait either time we went to eat, although the summer crowd will likely be waiting just because these two cities don't know how to say no to more gigantic condo buildings - but that's a whole additional topic- I digress.“
