“We got there at 9pm, thinking they closed at 10. They close at 9:30 on Sundays. They were SO kind to us. The owner/manager came out to our table to make sure everything was to our liking, our waitress was amazing. We got the red snapper, surf and turf, sushi, lobster Mac and firecracker shrimp. Everything was delicious. The macaroni by itself on the surf & turf plate was the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. Lobster Mac was amazing. Steak was perfectly cooked. The fish was the best I’ve ever had. The way they told us we could stay as long as we like. We were tired from the beach so we left about 9:40 but wow, I’ll never forget this place! Instead of being annoyed, they treated us like gold.“

“We absolutely loved the food at Luna’s! Our party tried the crab and artichoke dip, the beer cheese dip, chicken Caesar salad, pimento cheeseburger, fresh catch (red snapper), hot Nashville chicken, and two desserts to share. Not one bit of food was left-we devoured every delicious bit, and I highly recommend this place for service, taste, quality, and atmosphere. You cannot miss with Luna’s. It’s a must-try!“

“Let me just say this was the best food I’ve had in a while and the service was top notch. Tia was awesome and I will definitely be back. Side note: the rug in the front caught my shoe and I went tumbling down. Busted open my knee and definitely damaged my foot and my pride. However, the staff were quick to intervene and helped me up. Gave me an ice pack and even offered to call an ambulance, which I declined because my pride was already wounded enough. So, thank you to your amazing staff that didn’t let me feel embarrassed for busting my butt in the entryway.“

“Mile Marker 158 is a hidden gem! The food is amazing. The bread that was brought out before our meal was wonderful. It was nice and warm and the strawberry butter, oh my! My husband and I enjoyed the fish of the day, grouper, with gouda smashed potatoes, green beans topped with lemon beurre blanc. My fish was grilled and my husband's was blackened. The fish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The green beans were crisp and delicious. We shared a slice of key lime pie that was nice and tart, and had just the right amount of sweetness. You don't want to miss this place. Melissa took excellent care of us.“

“My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

“Thank you guys so much for the fabulous experience! I was a little skeptical at first, but the experience from the hostess to our waitress was great! I had the crab and shrimp combo. The flavor was awesome! The dipping butter kind of took away from the fabulous flavor. I'm a steamer fan from now on!“

“Somewhat confusing setup, no greetings (or thanks for comin' for that matter) we were handed menus and told to come back to 1 of 2 counters to order, got our own drinks in disposable cups and were given a buzzer. When it went off, after about 10 minutes, the sweetest waiter came out, gave us a thumbs-up. And as we started to return the buzzer to the counter, he brought out our food. All of this to say, we'll be back!!

“Visited mid-week for an early dinner, so there was no wait. Nice atmosphere with marina views from a table near the window. They also have outdoor seating. Server was friendly. Food was very good. Had shrimp and grits, which was different from the cream-sauce variety I have most often, but was very good. I would liken it to a cross between shrimp/grits and gumbo - more of a roux sauce with sausage. Others in the group had stuffed shrimp that they really enjoyed. We will visit again.“

“Came here with our family of 7 from Kansas! Josh was absolutely AMAZING! Explained how the boils are ordered, the spice level options, always brought refills. When we got the bill, oh man lol, we made sure to let him know how much we appreciated him making our first experience nothing short of amazing! He came outside as we were leaving, just to thank us !! Very personable and humble experience!!!! 5 Stars for sure!“

“The food was super good, had the wagyu appetizer very tasty and sipped some wine and espresso martinis with my girl. They had a ton of wine selections and all sorts of drinks on menu. We also had the steak, she got the filet mignon which was great and I had the hanging sirloin n man were they both so good paired with the bleu cheese sauce. Also had a super knowledgeable waiter Rusty he knew all the best recommendations and fun facts. 10/10“

“We ate here on our last night in Orange Beach. It was directly across from our hotel. Krisinea (spelling) was our waitress. She was great. She knew the menu well and was very helpful and attentive. We started with the fried green tomato appetizer. It was very good. For dinner, I ordered the chefs evening special of blackened grouper over Gouda cheese grits. It came with grill asparagus. My wife ordered the stuffed shrimp with the Gouda grits as her side. We then split the crème brûlée for desert. Everything was amazing. The grouper was cooked perfectly. It had a crab cream sauce on top as well. I tried one of my wife’s stuffed shrimp and the stuffing was excellent. But the grits…. the grits were simply devine. Creamy and spiced or seasoned with something we could not identify. I wish my cheese grits were that good! The crème brûlée was also better than others I have had. It was served in a deeper dish. This allowed what I thought was the perfect burned sugar-custard balance. This restaurant is celebrating 40 years in service this year. And it’s no wonder. Eat here. You will not be disappointed.“

“Today is my birthday and my husband is working out of town, so he sent me to Coastal for a birthday breakfast.. Caidan was the hostess and was very sweet and seated me right in front of the water for a fantastic view.. Erik was my waiter and he was also awesome! He offered to sing Happy Birthday to me! 🤣 He made me a delicious coffee and mimosa. The breakfast was top notch. I got the avocado toast with fruit and it was perfect. Wonderful atmosphere and the best staff around. I also went next door to the retail shop and bought myself the cutest shirt. Alicia was working and she is such a sweetheart. “2024.07.14 - Had a great time on a friends boat in the Bear Point Harbor. The harbor is clean and well kept. Slips are nice. Shore power comes in all types of connectors. Lots of parking in a gravel lot acrpss from the slips. The OSO restaurant is super convenient after a long day on the boat to relax and eat tasty food. Lots of SeeDoos to rent if your interested. Fun time at night with live bands and drinks at OSO. Porta potties for members only inside the fencing are nice and well kept. Look forward to another visit to the Bear Point Harbor.“
