“My husband and I love Golden City! We started going 3 years ago, and it has consistently been our favorite place in the area. We love their sushi rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and hibachi. My favorite is the egg drop soup. Not only is the food fantastic, but we always love the incredible service that Golden City provides.”

“My favorite go to-Yan’s Express closed. Stopped Tokyo Express after church. A little different menu from Yan’s but still delicious and served steaming hot! Had crab angel wings (hot & delicious) and Hibachi chicken with Lo Mein.! Stop in or go through the drive through & support this Pelham restaurant!”

“This is such a cute place! The staff is super nice and friendly. The food is good and it has a laidback, cool atmosphere. Great place for a beer (they have a huge selection!) and to catch up with friends. Their trivia is fun as well!”

“Cheese dip was meh, probably wont get it again. My son loved the kids chicken quesadilla, rice, and beans. He ate almost all of it. Enchilada sauce was good. Rice and beans were good. We’ll be back.”

“I purchased a 10 inch chocolate cake with peanut butter icing for my nephew's 18th birthday. The cake was one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever tasted! It was moist and rich! The next day, someone gave me a quick call just to find out how satisfied we were with cake. That is how you do business, Pelham! I will be back soon!”

“My order was ready on time and I just pulled to the window and picked it up from the nice guy who had it ready to go. The scones are really good. You can taste the butter, and the flavors of each of the varieties. They’re all delicious but my favorite was the toasted coconut.”

“Stopped in this morning while visiting family and I’m so glad we did! The coffee was absolutely top tier. It had the perfect balance of flavor, sweetness, and creaminess without overpowering the actual coffee. You could still really taste the coffee, which is something I appreciate. Everything was delicious, and it was easily one of the best coffee drinks I’ve had in a while. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!”

“Found myself passing by here after driving by it 100 times and finally decided to stop in.

I was immediately greeted by the cashier and the person behind the food display (Mike) with high energy and enthusiasm. The food looked great and though the pork chops called my name, I ended up with the burger and fries... and I'm glad I did.

The order was placed and cooked while I waited. When Mike handed me the box, it was heavy and filled to the brim. I was amazed when I opened it to find a large portion of seasoned fries and a good-sized burger to combine with a fountain drink for $8.99.

This spot has gotten my attention and their menu has me interested in 2 other items on my personal must-have list.”

“First time visit I had Smothered pork chop, roll, Mac cheese, candied yams, green beans, and peach cobbler. Food was seasoned well, flavorful, soft to chew, and meat tender also. Walk-thru menu serve style. Nice servers and cashier. Able to eat in. I took my meal to-go. I’ll be returning and try other menu items.👍”

“Stopped in on the way to the beach. Very good tacos . Wow! Would have never guessed for a gas station. Taste like what you get at the Mexican truck. I should have got 2 tacos instead of 3. Because they put a whole lot of meat on it, and use 3 tortillas for one taco. Very filling.”

“My husband & I decided to have an early breakfast @around 3am this morning (07/04/22) Our waitress was Tilia at the Pelham store, we ordered Steak & Eggs with hash browns, grits, tomatoes & coffee!! Our coffee was brewed fresh, as we was receiving our order, Tilia or waitress almost lost control of our food, so My husband tried to help catch the food so she would not drop it, unfortunately she accidentally dropped the hot grits & it landed on my husband's left , he was burnt pretty bad... This being said, our waitress hollered for another waitress to bring a cold towel, they also brought ice & some bandaids & burn sauve , all three servers that was there was very sympathetic, they then continued to get our order, made us another bowl of grits. Our server & the other servers continued to come check on my husband to assure he was doing good ,Tilia our waitress checked on us often to see if we needed anything.. Overall our experience was really great, even though my husband was burnt, we still enjoyed our food & how sweet everyone was to us! As we got ready to leave, we went up to pay for our order, but was told it was on the house, we still tipped our waitress Tilia & hugged her, she was so embarrassed & sad about what happened , we explained there wasn't any hard feelings towards her, things happen, my husband is fine ,his hand looks good, thank God!! We will definitely be back , mainly because of how polite & attentive they all were , the way they all handled things were amazing!! Many blessings Waffle House Employees!!
