“Fresh food always on the buffet, not a huge selection but if you are looking for something, just ask. As far as the regular menu, there are so many options that you can find anything you want, Japanese food, Chinese, burgers (good ones!), and far more. Well worth a visit, and don't be put off by the age of the shell, clean and welcoming. Run by a husband and wife team.”

“My husband and I love Golden City! We started going 3 years ago, and it has consistently been our favorite place in the area. We love their sushi rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and hibachi. My favorite is the egg drop soup. Not only is the food fantastic, but we always love the incredible service that Golden City provides.”

“Ate there the first time today with my family after church. The service was phenomenal and the food was amazing! Aunt Shirley and Mr. Kevin had us feeling like a part of the family by time we left! Our server Breeton was so kind, funny, and took very good care of us. . & The live music was an added bonus ! I really enjoyed the fried pork chops, Mac & cheese, and baked beans. My family raved about the bussin burgers - one of the best they’ve had. Oh and the lemon pepper okra was 🔥 🔥 I’ll be back soon and will recommend to all of my friends ! Can’t wait to try something else !”

“Cheese dip was meh, probably wont get it again. My son loved the kids chicken quesadilla, rice, and beans. He ate almost all of it. Enchilada sauce was good. Rice and beans were good. We’ll be back.”

“Nice friendly and prompt service. There wasn't a huge line and the store was clean and tidy. I haven't been to SB in a while, did they stop putting on sleeves for hot coffees? I had to wait a while before I could actually drink my Latte. The food is okay but a bit overpriced for what it is. I wouldn't have chosen Starbucks but I was given a gift card.”

“I really like Milos and we eat at the Pelham store regularly. However yesterday was a disappointment. The tea was terrible, it taste soured, and I buy Milos tea at the grocery so I know how it should taste. When I returned it to the counter the employee stated others had complained about the taste, so why didn’t they make new tea? Also the burger with lettuce & tomato kept falling apart because the lettuce was a huge thick piece too large for the sandwich. The regular cheeseburger was thrown together also. I’m not sure what was going on yesterday but it was not a good experience.”

“Finally found a meat and 3 in Alabaster! This food is amazing. The macaron and cheese is heavenly. The dining area is spacious so you can actually talk to the people in your party. We may do Thanksgiving here!!!! Love it!”

“I use to live on Oliver Street. This restaurant was not here then. That was a different era. Does anybody here ever wonder what it was like here in the early 90s? It was somewhat nice…before the dark times. Do any of you hear or see ghosts in any of the residences here? I did…in both places I stayed at.”

“Had only visited this location once a couple of years ago when it first opened & was not impressed with food quality....decided to drop in to see how things are now & was pleasantly surprised. We arrived for a late lunch & noted very few patrons in dining room. Our server, Ian, was friendly & attentive. We enjoyed the fried catfish ( farmed in Mississippi!) and the New Orleans style crab claws in a savory broth. Side salad was fresh & appetizing. The fried okra was some if not the best I've had locally. We also opted for take home desserts....lemon blueberry cheesecake & the bread pudding....both were very good. Looking forward to dining here again! Service was excellent as well.”

“WOW, was this great! Just traveling through and in town for a week, saw this place and thought we'd check it out. I had the sampler platter and my mom had the shrimp kabobs. Everything was amazing!! With the exception of gyros and baklava, I haven't had much Mediterranean food... I'm not even sure what was what on that sampler lol. Separately, it was yummy, but then I started putting bites together and dang near polished the whole thing off myself because it was so deliciousI couldn't stop. Plus, that baklava was to die for! I've had a lot of baklava in my 43 years, but that was the best I ever ate by a long shot.

And the staff was so pleasant and helpful too! If I ever find myself back in town, we'll definitely return.”

“I bought a biscuit on the fly (few under warmer by register for the station) a couple of weeks ago and told my spouse how good it was. Today she said we should get one there as we were running errands. It was almost 11am. When i walked in this time i noticed the Sneaky Petes on the left side with tables and such. I ordered a BEC combo and their "other fav" bologna egg and cheese combo. Choice of fries or hashbrowns. Opted for fries. Both biscuits were delicious and the fries were fresh. Medium size cut. Not the cheap frozen crinkle kind. Ohhh so good. And under $18. Servers/Food Preparers were very friendly. Bilingual a plus.
Will be a repeat client!!!

“This is where you go when you want hot and crunchy chicken for your Chinese cravings. The negative reviews on here expect tofu to taste like filet mignon or they didn’t properly read the menu. As far as the staff, they are so friendly but nay sayers do not understand their first language is not what ours is. That should tell you this is authentic as it gets. This is one of the cleanest kitchens you will eat out of in the Birmingham area. Order the Dragon & Phoenix if you know what’s good for you!! You will get the portion you pay for, if $14 is too much try Sonic.”

“I visit this location late at night as I drive through Pelham. I'm a truck driver. This location absolutely has some of the nicest employees on the night shift that I could ask for. Super nice, attentive and always has my order ready when I stop by... I'm very satisfied with this location and the service.”

“This Chick-Fil-A is fast! We just went through their drive-thru at 7:30 am and the whole experience took 2 minutes. Yall are doing an awesome job!”
