“This place is a hidden gem in Pleasant Grove. 15-20 minutes from Birmingham and with the drive. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is very fresh and delicious, you can tell there's a lot of love put into it. There are American choices for the less adventurous eaters and children's menu, also vegetarian options! My personal favorites are the falafel plate, Greek salad, tahini sauce, hummus and baklava. All homemade! Go try it, you won't be disappointed!“

“I hate I didn’t take a picture… but I got a cheeseburger combo with Cajun ranch fries… the burger was seasoned so good and had that “straight from my house” taste and the Cajun fries didn’t make it past the parking lot!!! Everything was good and I will definitely be back!!!“

“Jack's has been a staple of Pleasant Grove for as long as I have lived here.. with that being said, I think its time they just close this location for good. Never get what you order, always missing items. If I could give this location zero stars... it would still be too high. I'd rather drive an extra 30 min to another location.“

“Went here after a cheer competition! We had a large party and were set quickly! Our waitress had multiple large parties and was absolutely fabulous! Food was amazing! The kids enjoyed the outside area while waiting on food! Very accommodating to allergies and picky eaters! Highly recommend! Only con is that they don’t have one in Murfreesboro, TN!!“

“Being from this side of town, I'm glad to find a place to eat that reminds me of where and how I grew up. When I get a feen for a down home hot dog or cheese burger, I've always been able to get it here. I've always been met by the staff with a super friendly 'Hey baby, whatchu gone have'. .. reminds me of my big mama.... I love them deeply for being my conduit to my maternal past. The
dogs are always perfect and hit the spot....bag of chips and cold soda and I'm good for the day. And I've never been in line more than 7 minutes. Much love for the small business feel.“

“I love wings plus. Out of all of the Wings joints I've been to Wings Plus in Bluff Park tops them all. I have never had anything less than freshly made delicious food and I don't just order wings. The place is always neat. I know restaurants were hit hard by the pandemic and have a hard time finding people to work. I've never been treated anything less than respectful and kind. “My friends and I had the best time being served by Dominique at Cracker Barrel in Bessemer. Servers are hit and miss these days in giving good service, so we were so delighted to have such a wonderful and attentive waitress who gave us excellent service. Dominique was so friendly and outright charming and made us laugh so hard. I haven't had such a good time out in a long time. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. I was not disappointed either as the food was excellent. Thank you, Dominique, for being so great at your job. I will always ask for you when I come to that Cracker Barrel.“

“🤩🤩This is my go-to location for IHOP and it’s simply the best. I usually order delivery and the food presentation and quality is top tier, I always get exactly what I ordered. The chefs are superb, I’ve never had a bad experience, I usually order the same munchies every time and each time I can tell they care. Without asking they usually provide extra napkins, condiments and the food has a sticker on it so I know no one opened it. If you want take out that’s just as good as in the restaurant here is the spot. * eggs Benedict, buttered toast and a fajita omelette pictures enclosed“

“JT’s is fairly basic as far as hotel bars go, though I’d think the renaissance would hold a higher standard. The food was excellent; fresh and delicious, just limited in variety. The drink menu was elevated but felt extremely short for a cocktail lounge. The staff did a great job, but were clearly struggling to keep up with the crowd.

“My family and I came to this area just a couple of hours ago and the cashier name Angelo was very friendly and professional to me and my family and wasn't rushing me to order and she has a beautiful smile Angelo was very specific and suggested other items for my order and the last thing she asked was that I need any dipping sauce for my order and that really lighten my day that she was very concerned about me and my family to get everything we need and that's great customer service and me and my family will be back very soon and also the food was great and the tea was amazing Angelo did a very great job she does need a raise with that wonderful caring customer services that's an A+ great job Angelo..smile on our faces“

“Visited for the first time today! Glad I did! I have been looking for some fantastic wings with plenty of flavor options and when I tell you they have options, they have options! I got a 15 piece with the West Side Fire sauce!! Absolutely freaking amazing!! Wings were cooked perfectly and still hot when I got them home, sauce has a great and the hear level is not ofer the top!! I asked for my sauce in the side as well as extra sauce because I like to really drench em in a good sauce while sitting down with a cold beer and some Alabama football!! I wish their sauce cups were a little bigger but I made it stretch!! I am already wanting more and I just left there about an hour and a half ago!! Next time I am gonna try the TNT sauce!!“
