“This place is a hidden gem in Pleasant Grove. 15-20 minutes from Birmingham and with the drive. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is very fresh and delicious, you can tell there's a lot of love put into it. There are American choices for the less adventurous eaters and children's menu, also vegetarian options! My personal favorites are the falafel plate, Greek salad, tahini sauce, hummus and baklava. All homemade! Go try it, you won't be disappointed!“

Bessemer is so fortunate to have access to your talent! “This was our first visit to Jubilee Joe's, but it won't be our last. The food we ordered was amazing. The Etouffè was the best I have ever eaten, wonderful flavor and a nice kick of heat. We enjoyed it so much, we got some to go. The Seafood Gumbo was top notch. Again amazing flavor. The service was fantastic, as well. Friendly and attentive. Customer service brings me back even when they are not on point.. and they usually are.

The veggies are always good and seasoned just right (vegetarian options will be hard to find). The baked chicken and ox tails never disappoint.

“I absolutely love having a cafe style grill and juice bar in town. Everything is made to order and fresh!! I’ve had the shrimp and grits, avocado toast, hummus, pizza, and a variety of juices. “JT’s is fairly basic as far as hotel bars go, though I’d think the renaissance would hold a higher standard. The food was excellent; fresh and delicious, just limited in variety. The drink menu was elevated but felt extremely short for a cocktail lounge. The staff did a great job, but were clearly struggling to keep up with the crowd.

Vegetarian options: Limited standard menu, so veg options are extremely limited.“

The chefs are superb, I’ve never had a bad experience, I usually order the same munchies every time and each time I can tell they care. Without asking they usually provide extra napkins, condiments and the food has a sticker on it so I know no one opened it. But I placed a rather large order to be picked up inside and when I got home there were no buns. I called and was told I had to purchase them separately. You would think that when you purchased 2Lb of pork that buns would come with it. I know I have purchased pork and chicken and there were always bun included.“

Servers are hit and miss these days in giving good service, so we were so delighted to have such a wonderful and attentive waitress who gave us excellent service. Dominique was so friendly and outright charming and made us laugh so hard. I haven't had such a good time out in a long time. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. I was not disappointed either as the food was excellent. Thank you, Dominique, for being so great at your job. I will always ask for you when I come to that Cracker Barrel.“
