Wheelchair accessibility: Didn't see any handicap parking spaces. Building is not particularly handicap friendly, but not impossible with assistance.“

“As usual, Smokey C’s is the best lunch place around Decatur. The food is outstanding and everyone is super nice. You can always tell a good restaurant by the length of the line. Even though the line is almost out the door every day. It moves quickly because of their great serving and cooking team. The flavor & tenderness of their smoked chicken can’t be matched by anyone else. With a large selection of sides, you can get just about any combination you like. Don’t forget an order of deviled eggs.“

“Whole chicken amazing. All the food I've tried has been great. I'm not normally a baked bean fan, but their baked beans are the best ever. I never knew how good baked beans could be until I tried theirs. Rib sandwich, delicious. Staff super friendly. Great experience overall. Will continue to return. <3 Thank yall for being awesome!! ❤“

Chicken potatoes the chicken was shredded and grainy.
The pork or turkey is where it's at just personal preference.
I recommend pork as the safe bet and turkey the same. The Chicken you may like, just texture was off.
Potatoes were big with butter, sour cream, and cheese they were loaded with all 3. And the potatoes itself were excellent.“

“2/24/2024 After waiting patiently for a table and then another 40 minutes on our food, the food was wonderful, cooked exactly the way we ordered. I understand it was a Saturday night, but we were there at 5pm. Then waitress kept coming and just standing looking at us, she would take empty plates and glasses, that part was ok too. but when she came back after we paid and insinuated, we needed to leave because we had been sitting there an hour and that was long enough. I told her we were still eating and trying to enjoy the drinks we ordered. We had only gotten our food 2o minutes prior to this. needless to say, we hurried and finished so we could give up those 2 precious spots. Probably won't go back and if I do it won't be for a 1st date like that was.“

“I just returned from having Sunday lunch with a group of 10 at your location.The five men sat at one table and the ladies at another. Even though their orders were taken first, our food came first by about 45 minutes or longer. The waitress went to the ladies table and asked were they ready for their tickets like the restaurant needed the table. Somewhere along the line their order did not make it to the kitchen. Thirty minutes later the ladies were served and the men had to sit and wait for them. We were all given a discount on our tickets and that was appreciated but no one ever said they were sorry. That would have gone a long way. Everyone makes mistakes, even restaurants, but an apology . That would have been nice.“

“Steak was made to correct temperature and tasted great. Salad was fine sweet potato could have been better needed more butter and cinnamon the pop corn shrimp with the kids meal was not good. The rolls were wonderful and the kids kept asking for more. The waitress was very nice and kept checking on us. 15 minute wait to be seated and about the same for food to arrive once ordered“
