I recommend getting the socal burrito with or without meat it’s still delicious also I always order chips and salsa to go which they give to me for free(only place that does that) and they’re amazing at making drinks. I find it quite hilarious to see the one star reviews and their comments because I come to eat here at all different times of the day busy or slow and I’ll always give them a 5⭐️review YOU MUST TRY THIS RESTAURANT!!!”

Food is very good-- pizza, sandwiches, nachos. Sometimes they have live music, bands. There is outdoor seating, as well as a number of tables inside. Best of all is the cool owner Bo Hicks, who brings community spirit into the place. Highly recommend!”

“As I was looking for an authentic Mexican place, I came upon Loco Lupes. I wanted queso and on the DoorDash website, this was the only place other than Socal, Chiptotle, and Central Mesa. Although those places are great, I do not like their queso very much. I have never heard of Loco Lupes but decided to give it a go. Thank goodness I did because that was one of the best quesos that I have ever had. I also got a cheese quesadilla and salsa. Both were great and I will for sure order this again. 10/10!”

“I've been getting breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, and a bunch of other goodies from Ben's for the past year or so. It is without a doubt one of the most high quality bakeries in Tuscaloosa. Recently, I decided to get their coffee and stay in for a couple hours doing light work, and I really enjoyed the experience - they added some nice new tables, there's several rooms where you can sit, I prefer the front one with the windows as it gets a lot of light. Their coffee was quite good, and their pastries are always awesome. Highly recommend you try them out, especially if other coffee shops like Monarch, Turbo, or Strange Coffee are a bit too noisy for you to focus.”

I opted for the Alambre Fajitas, which were incredibly delicious. The portion size was generous, so I had to order a box to take home. Their queso and salsa were also fantastic. To top it off, we had fried ice cream for dessert, which was the best I’ve ever had in Tuscaloosa. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for great Mexican food. I know my family will be eating there again.”

They work well as a team and are just so sweet. They had a question about how I liked the drink made and instead of guessing, they took the time to ask and get it right. The atmosphere in there was nice too. There were people studying and it felt very Christmas-y.”
