The service was outstanding and the whole experience was just classy and comfortable. Brussel sprouts were on special for an appetizer, they were the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

I find it quite hilarious to see the one star reviews and their comments because I come to eat here at all different times of the day busy or slow and I’ll always give them a 5⭐️review YOU MUST TRY THIS RESTAURANT!!!”

“We have eaten at Sugo multiple times - they are consistently VERY good. The food is exceptional. I have tried several different pasta dishes and they are fantastic. The fried ravioli and meatball apps are my favorites. My favorite dessert is Tiramisu - hands down the best! Great service, great food and a great atmosphere - Sugo has it all!”

“My first Waffle House experience and it was fantastic! For starters, not only was the staff very friendly for an early Saturday morning, but they were all very polite as well. We sat down and ordered quickly, and our server was on top of everything. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything tasted great. I also paid attention to how friendly the staff was with the cool while they submitted orders and waited for their orders to go out. There was no shouting, they were polite, they weren't in each other's way and they were working quickly and efficiently. The cashier was sweet and friendly, and everyone thanked us as we left. I'm sure this restaurant gets very busy during the year, as they are on The Strip in Tuscaloosa, but I'm sure they're just as quick, efficient and awesome then as they were on an early Saturday morning. I will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Tuscaloosa, and hopefully all other Waffle Houses deliver the same experience as this one did. Thank you to everyone for such a great experience! ?”

“They have definitely made some major changes at this location. The employees seem to be better trained and more efficient. They were friendly and were able to get my order right on the first time. My food was hot and prepared relatively quickly. The restaurant seem to be clean and neat and in order. It was a little hot as the air conditioner did not seem to be working correctly however, it was working well in the children's play place and was extremely comfortable in there.

I know every place/cook has their own way of cooking, but usually they are somewhat similar. This one tasted great the first few bites, but then things started heating up. I started sweating. Wow! To say it was hot is not doing it justice. I counted out 10 (ten!) hot peppers in that little dish! Not counting the chopped into the sauce heat. It was too much for me. The burning in my mouth became unpleasant so I couldn't eat any more. I would eat here again, just not order anything hot. It did taste great.”

“As I was looking for an authentic Mexican place, I came upon Loco Lupes. I wanted queso and on the DoorDash website, this was the only place other than Socal, Chiptotle, and Central Mesa. Although those places are great, I do not like their queso very much. I have never heard of Loco Lupes but decided to give it a go. Thank goodness I did because that was one of the best quesos that I have ever had. I also got a cheese quesadilla and salsa. Both were great and I will for sure order this again. 10/10!”

“I've been getting breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, and a bunch of other goodies from Ben's for the past year or so. It is without a doubt one of the most high quality bakeries in Tuscaloosa. Recently, I decided to get their coffee and stay in for a couple hours doing light work, and I really enjoyed the experience - they added some nice new tables, there's several rooms where you can sit, I prefer the front one with the windows as it gets a lot of light. Their coffee was quite good, and their pastries are always awesome. Highly recommend you try them out, especially if other coffee shops like Monarch, Turbo, or Strange Coffee are a bit too noisy for you to focus.”
