“When we arrived I was immediately greeted by the incredible smell of freshly baked bread drifting out the door. The cupcakes were generous in size, delicious, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. You can really taste the care that goes into them. The muffins were just as impressive: large, fresh, and full of flavor. Overall, a wonderful spot for anyone who appreciates quality baked goods. I’ll definitely be back!“

“I usually love Dutch bros however, I was a little disappointed I used my birthday reward and ordered the trick o treat drink (which I stepped out from my original lock) to get a drink with 0 gummy bears: handed a drink quickly with No greetings at the window. No surprise birthday cups like the usual ones. The only food service was the y o ung girl who wished me a happy birthday while taking my order:l. Thank you?“

The food is delicious, and the drinks are made with real ingredients done properly (the horrchata they use real arroz and it's obvious they prepared it authentic). Same with the Matcha. “A few days ago I came in and ordered a large ice kicker with oat milk, I took a sip and knew right away it wasn’t right. I’m not gonna lie I was a bit frustrated because I was heading somewhere but I really needed a pick me up, so I turned around and went back. Selena was the lead on shift and I explained my situation, she listened to me and genuinely apologized for the inconvenience, they were having a bit of a rush but she stopped and remade my drink right away so I could get where I was going. When I came back for more today, they didn’t have it. I love this bakery, the staff is friendly, and everything is good. Just want more white cake with strawberries.“

“Yes for the coffee, I got their Cafe Miel with honey & cinnamon that was wonderful and a nitro. Thankful for the big one get one free ad from Facebook! I have been here before and appreciated the simple atmosphere and service. Today, the gentleman at the register didn’t look at me when I walked in, said absolutely nothing to me to acknowledge my presence, kept making drinks and then after about 5 minutes when he got to me at the register-he practically out stared at me. When I said a medium drink he rudely interrupted me and corrected me the terminology they use for their drink sizes and said “there ya go” when he totaled my order, insinuating me to tap my card. Super rude and unkind, but I continued with kindness. I want to go back but definitely not for him. Truly never seen a human so disgruntled in making coffee and offering kindness to the world. It’s not that hard to smile and appreciate life. You woke up today, be grateful.“

“My first time trying Black Rock Coffee, and I absolutely loved it! The drinks are incredible, and the service was even better. Gavin helped me out and made my experience truly special—he suggested a Caramel Truffle drink with dark chocolate, and honestly, it’s one of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had in my life. The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced—definitely something unique compared to other coffee chains.

Gavin is such a sweet and genuine person. He not only helped me choose my drink but also suggested some great Italian restaurants in town. Our conversation was so pleasant, and he made me feel completely welcome and at home. It’s rare to find such kindness and enthusiasm—it really made my visit memorable.

The rest of the staff were great too, the restrooms were clean, and the whole location felt bright, friendly, and well-kept. Huge credit to the Black Rock Coffee team for hiring people like Gavin who truly elevate the customer experience.
