“From the moment we were seated, the service at Black Bear Diner in Gilbert exceeded expectations; and that was largely thanks to our server, Chase (Aiden). Despite managing a full section, he never made us feel rushed or overlooked. Quite the opposite—he took the time to make us feel genuinely welcome and at home. Chase was not only attentive but also clearly knowledgeable about the menu and options. He carried himself with a confidence that showed he takes pride in his work and truly cares about each guest’s experience. Watching him interact with other tables, it was obvious we weren’t the only ones who appreciated his excellent service—everyone seemed to enjoy his energy. As for the food: no complaints whatsoever. Both of our meals were hot, fresh, and delicious. Great portions, great flavors, and served exactly as ordered. All around, it was a great experience. If you’re heading to this location, I highly recommend asking for Chase, he’s a standout and made our visit even better.“

“First time there. Restaurant was very nice and clean. Our waiter was awesome, the atmosphere was very pleasant and a nice family place. Food overall was mid. I ordered eggs benedict - the whites on my egg were so runny/raw, instead of ham steak they used sliced ham which wasn't even fried it was cold on top of the english muffin, the sauce was good but overall the best part of the meal was the potatoes which were warm and good., the eggs/ham were room temp if even that. My daughter took me for brunch she likes the place, I wanted to go to a diner, she chose there - I am not a fan. Presentation of the food was nice, but i like my food warm/hot that plate felt like it was sitting there before i was served.“

“We were a party of 5. Ordered 2 pizzas Chicken Parm sub Large Calzone and MB Stromboli. Food was fresh and served hot (big pet peeve of mine). Grew up in the suburbs of NYC and have to tell ya the pizza was the best I have eaten in years in AZ. The servers made sure we had everything we needed and kept getting us soda refills. Truly awesome experience and will make this a regular spot to go to“

“Dinner was average, overpriced, onion ring taste like they were cooked in old grease, wait staff extremely rude, drinks were so small (half the size of a regular short) and bathrooms were filthy! Kids everywhere! not that I don't like kids but not at a sports bar on a Saturday night. Not going back and do not recommend.“

“I went here for first time a few days ago..The store owner is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond. He went above and beyond to make sure my experience was good. The Dr Pepper was broken which was not his fault. He went out of his way to find me a dr pepper came back and surprised me with one. I just couldn't believe it. It completely made my day. I highly recommend this place to anyone.“

“The owners are nasty ppl that are literally stealing from guests. The "cash discount" is the guest paying the transaction fees. However, they're charging you for debit card transactions that dont exist. They are pocketing that money! They treat employees like garbage, and the kitchen is FILTHY!!!!!! Will and Jill were great at explaining the menu and the wines! The food was delicious and a wonderful selection of wine! (Must try the charcuterie board!!!). “Well, when I go there, I always go there and it's takeout. And I ordered the same thing. I told her next time, I'm gonna try something different. I always order the tofu and they cook it for me. In teriyaki sauce, then I bring it home and then I add my own stuff to it. I love the way I cooked broccoli, chicken, scrambled, hamburger, or Turkey burger or a hamburger. Yeah.“

“An absolutely incredible bakery with unique offerings for creating a dessert tray for a dinner party (that included peanut butter mousse cupcakes, millionaire shortbread bars, and salted caramel brownies) that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Their cinnamon rolls are an amazing breakfast treat. I can’t wait to be back in Arizona to be able to enjoy your treats again❣️ I highly recommend going in and giving them an opportunity to satisfy your sweet tooth. You will NOT be disappointed.“

“I adore this Thai restaurant! After moving from a different part of the Valley, I was struggling to find a spot I really loved in Gilbert. I first ordered from here on DoorDash and every single order was amazing, even to-go. I finally went in this week and the experience was just as great, I ordered the clear noodle soup and papaya salad. The woman at the counter was so friendly and welcoming. And the papaya salad? Hands down the best I’ve had so far. I’ve tried it at several other Thai restaurants in the area and this one is by far my favorite. I’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to share this place with others!“

“We love this place! It's always hopping on the weekends, especially after 9 AM, so it pays to come early. The servers are fantastic, personable, and attentive. The food is great and the peach ice tea is a favorite. They have a large covered, pet friendly patio with plenty of seating, and the indoor space in this beautiful old home is cozy and pleasant.“
