Great portions (I couldn't finish my huevos) and both of us were saying we want to come back & try other items. The service was fine - I definitely felt like if you were from the neighborhood you were recognized & chatted up, but by no means was our server not perfectly fine... appropriately friendly & attentive, drinks & refills arrived promptly, she checked on us mid-meal, the bill came promptly. Zero complaints on service but hands in the air on that food! We'll definitely return to try out more of the menu!“

The food was tasty and served after preparation in a timely manner that compliments the flow of conversation. I think my favorite was the Doro Wat, along with the beets, and the chickpeas, however the cheese was light and creamy and the enjira bread was mellow, tangy, soft to the touch and added the proper balance to the spices and flavors . The absolute highlight and great surprise was the staff! These were the kindest, with pleasant voices, understanding spirits and just incredible Gentleman who took out order and served us. It was as soothing as a spa date to be under their care . One last note my friends, you MUST treat yourself to the fruit drink...where do I start...it seems to be a fresh puree of sweet tropical fruits layered in glass with various delicies. Each layer of fruit bounces with flavor as you sink your straw in at different levels to find distinct flavors of watermelon , mango etc each like memories of childhood when we played all day outdoors and fruit was sweet & real. So much better than candy but did remind me a bit of mambas but healthy. The juice in itself could be a meal And worthy of a visit. “Luana’s is by far one of the coolest coffee shops I’ve ever been to! From the first day I stepped foot into this place, I felt like I was walking into a home away from home. They have the coziest furniture that makes you want to stay for hours. The barista’s have always been so welcoming which has played a big part in making every experience at Luana’s a 10/10. Not to mention their breakfast pizza is a 100/10. They have such unique specialty coffees and their matcha is one of the best I’ve had yet. Anyone would regret not stepping foot at least once in such a lovely place!“

“The wait was long, this is a popular place. The dinner was to capacity with tables and chairs, there is no standing room if there is no immediate seating you will have to wait in the parking lot, there are a few lounge chairs outside.
They had plenty of options on the menu but Today we tried the pho and grilled pork roll with peanut sauce. I asked for a smaller portion but I was served the biggest they had and it is impressively huge, if you're starving this is the place to go. There was a lot of meat and sprouts for our pho. The dishes do come in three sizes. The grilled roll was tasty.
On this side of the city this place is ok but we won't travel to visit again, there are better places for the same price.

“My friend was recently (on Dec 2nd) kicked out of this venue for no reason by overzealous security after driving two hours to see a Katatonia concert and then when he protested against them (verbally, not physically) outside of the venue they arrested him. Wtf? Every American has the right to free speech, especially if they've been mistreated by employees of a business. I would advise everyone to avoid this venue and their fascistic security.“
