“Darden you still do pretty darn good – very good. And pretty consistent I might add. Longhorn Steakhouse, specifically the Alma School Road, Mesa location – do a darn good job. It is practically impossible presently to not find corporations operating restaurants that can essentially offer or deliver 1) amazing service – they emphasize it: I give it 4.0 , 2) an excellent attention to detail especially in hospitality – excellent table service: I give it 3.5, 3) cleanliness, hygiene and comfort in their décor, amenities and lavatories – carpets clean and didn’t see smudges on glass: I give it 4.0, 4) an abundant and/or varied food and/or product menu: I give it 4.5, 5) consistently appetizing offerings: I give it 4.5, 6) a sincere customer service: I give it 4.5, 7) unique, innovative or specialized menus: I give it 4.0, 8) value and price of meals: I give it 3.5, and most of all, 9) the inert desire of one wanting to return, again and again for the experience gained: I give it 4.0. These are some if not most of what my basic requirements are when visiting one of these establishments each time. Then more specifically comes, of course, the food. On our last visit we devoured some really good Spicy Chicken Bites. A superbly prepared parmesan crusted Spinach Dip along with the perfectly prepared Three Dons Margarita. On various previous occasions we enjoyed their excellent White Cheddar stuffed mushrooms, terrific Steakhouse wings, fab Firehouse T-Bones and Flo’s Filet is always utterly well made. This is just the tip of the iceberg of our tastings at Longhorn Steakhouse. My wife and I do not pretend to be professional reviewers but are most definitively connoisseurs of excellent foods whether a fine upscale cuisine, middle-of-the-road common eats, or a low-end fast-food joint. In this way, I have developed a to-the-point method for determining the personal worthiness of each establishment visited as noted in my opening. Simplified, each requisite noted for the establishment visited best scored by my highest score offered. Longhorn Steakhouse Mesa scores a 3.5 of a potential 5.0. Take note the peripheral score of 3.6 does not represent the food’s 4.5 rating. Bon appétit.“

“Food was great and the service was phenomenal. I had a party of 6 with different drinks, different food likes, and a wheelchair. The server was a champ! Fresh drinks, bread, napkins, etc. We ran poor Jace ragged. Lol. (the ladies room was horrid, but the restaurant was packed to the gills Super Bowl Sunday)“

“Pretty good place with their take on sushi and other food. Value is much better than most upscale restaurants in Scottsdale. Service was excellent, sometimes it's too many people hovering around you, so a bit more hectic rather than relaxing. Rice in sushi was different from what you get in Japan, not so good. Wine list is pretty good! Overall I think it's worth the money“

“We just left the restaurant for our 2nd Valentines Day Dinner, as this has become a tradition for us. The staff as always is amazing! The GM Brent and his team have nothing to be ashamed off! The waiter Estaban was so friendly, so polite, and so attentive even with a 2 hour wait still at almost 9pm! We have dined here and our regulars and absolutely love this restaurant and have never had a bad experience. Thank you for an amazing dinner!“

“Had a truly excellent experience yesterday for brunch on the patio. It started with the hostess seating us which was very professional and courteous. Alexis was our server and she was amazing. Found out during the end of our meal that she had only been working there for two days. She was as knowledgeable and professional as she could be. She checked back numerous times to see if we needed anything. The brunch burger was amazing. So many flavors inside one bun! The Bloody Mary’s were spot on! We dont live here but if we did this would be a regular spot for brunch, business dinners or just a great date night! In todays world of lousy service and subpar service, this place is a shining star!!!!!“

“This is was one of the best dinners I have had in a long time! Everything from the location, service and food was on point. We went to celebrate the birthday of one of our friends and were very impressed with all this place had to offer. The cocktails were stiff and delicious. The appetizers were plentiful and the main course I had the attitude adjustment and the wife had the illicit affair. With dessert I had to get the expresso martini. I had the Wagyu Ribeye and it was spectacular. Paired with mashed potatoes my wife had the grilled salmon with potatoes gratin. “I was here for my birthday 8/25/24 with my girlfriend. It was an absolute delight! I had the grass fed ribeye, medium well, and it was probably the best steak I've ever had. That's saying a lot for a guy living and being from Chicago. The ambience was top notched and the customer service was great! I can't wait until I'm back in AZ, I will definitely return here. “I was blessed to gather with friends and family at Cholla located at Casino Arizona in Scottsdale. Call ahead for a reservation tell them Jon sent you, and remember they are only open for dinner. Cholla has become one of my favorite places for fine dining, the well-appointed nook will leave you wanting more and returning soon. If you have passed Cholla a million times and never looked in; you should, what’s behind the door will leave you in awe. At least stop in at the lounge for a drink and watch the game. First, the ambient lighting, cozy space and intimacy transforms your experience to memorable one; everyone in the restaurant was calm, rested and happy, including the staff. No one was in a hurry, this made our time there more enjoyable because we had more time together to talk, laugh and be as one. The artwork suited the restaurant. The vintage modern furniture is a perfect fit. The tables were perfectly appointed with everything you need. Next, the food is marvelous; from presentation to the last bite, we could not get enough. My personal favorite is the NY strip with au gratin potatoes and carrots. The ribs fall off the bone. The fillet minion is soft and juicy eat bite is unforgettable. The raspberry sorbet is a nice touch; Our group tends to order one of each dessert, and then we pass them around. The chocolate cake is decadent but my favorite is the key lime pie. I stopped sharing it at some point but they had plenty to go around. Btw, the bread and butter were superb and the daily chef’s choice is a fun surprise. Finally, the Cholla dining experience is one I will remember for many years; and will share it with others, to all the folks at Cholla thank you for a memorable experience; moreover, thank you for being part of our friends & family. For those of you still walking by and wondering what’s inside; open the door, I dare you.“

“1st time at this location. Wait time was 10 minutes or less, food was served within 15, excellent timing . Ordered medium rare, was nearly well done on both steaks. No brown sugar for the sweet potato, no bacon bits on loaded potato. Server had somewhat of an attitude when we asked for the brown sugar. Never offered to refill drinks or bring more rolls . Will give this location another try, if not will go back to Mesa location. Yes I do always tell my friends Tx Roadhouse is the best place to go.“

“A special evening with friends. Omar, our server, was outstanding. We were seated in the booth area as requested. Appetizer and salads were great, the bacon dusted salmon was a bit shy of really good though. Omar's beverage recommendations were dspot on and and sedessert was a home run.“

I rarely eat beef however when I do, I'll definitely come back to Ruth's Chris. The food, service and location...all great.“

“Black Angus is incredibly consistent in food and service. The manager greeted upon arrival and knew who I was via Open Table reservation. Seated promptly - ocassionally you have to wait even with reservation. The filet and prime rib were cooked perfectly and of good quality, the salad and baked potato was really good as well. Our sever was top notch and hit all the top marks. Again, very consistent experience at a high level on the impoortant things - food and service.“
