Papa John's in Phoenix

“So this is my local papa John’s and they are FAST. The fastest pizza you will likely get in the valley. Now does that compromise quality, not really. Tastes like yummy Papa John’s pizza. The only qualms I have is with using a third party delivery service. I’ve dealt with this in other states on deliveries and I hate it! I much rather give them ALL of my money! Not a cut to door dash or Uber eats who btw I can’t stand and never take accountability for shitty service. So I do take out only! When I do my food is hot, yummy, and they are lovely. Also the employees seem to be enjoying working there and that makes this career recruiter happy! Thanks for great pizza!“

“I would normally order from the location near Albertsons on cave creek but my last two experiences there were awful. I gave this location a try and it was great! Pizza was made quickly and correct. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store. Swift and easy pick up. I’ll be going to this location from now on. (Ordered on Saturday, March 8th around 8pm)“

“First time here. So delicious 🤤, everything was perfect, the crust was properly cooked, toppings were nicely portioned. Sauce tasted fresh. The parmesan packets and garlic sauce are top quality. Came to pick up 20 minutes late and my pizza was still in amazing shape! With how late I came in I expected crappy service but no the two gentlemen there were very cool and sweet. As a pizza lover I was extremely satisfied and hope to come back again soon.“

“I’m giving 5 stars because the poor girl working tonight all by herself is amazing. I feel so bad for her. There needs to be more than one person here!!! A guy came in and ordered 6 pizzas then 3 more people came in. There needs to be more workers at night not just one person.“

“This Papa John's did a great job managing my enormous pick up order for a boys' party. The pizzas came out of the oven exactly on-time and a kindly employee even carried the huge stack of boxes out to my car for me. Will definitely use this branch again for large orders. I see they are not being shown a lot of love in recent reviews so just wanted to throw my two cents in and say they pulled off my order perfectly. Thanks!“

“It was pick up so obviously there's not really going to be too much of an atmosphere but i feel like the worker wern't too happy which is understanable because there typically only one or two. My food was made on time and always correct, they use the right amount of dough unlike some other locations where the pizza feels like soggy cheese and bread.
I wouldn't call Papa Johns a fancy pizza place but that's kind of the goal, they want to be more affordable and even have an app with discounts which I recommend you get.
Always tip! Most people are struggling in this economy so if you don't have the money to tip then why not just buy a pizza from the grocery store. We all know that working with fast food isn't quite high paying so please be considerate to the hard workers that try and do their best but aren't paid enough. Blame corporations for this.“

“I haven't ordered Papa John's in a while. I was staying nearby on vacation and ordered some carry out specials. The lady who took the phone order had such a heavy accent I could hardly understand her. Plus she kept trying to upsell me about 3 times.
Finally opened my pizzas at the hotel and one had the wrong topping. It was just cheese so we didn't have a problem eating it, but it wasn't what we ordered.
The guy in store was super friendly and nice though.
