On my most recent visit, every dish from our table was spot-on, beautifully prepared, and deeply satisfying. The kitchen remains the restaurant’s strongest asset — consistently turning out vibrant, flavorful plates that celebrate Italian cuisine without pretense. The cocktails arrived promptly and were well-crafted, setting the tone for an enjoyable meal. The wine list deserves a special nod: it offers a thoughtful selection of Italian wines that are both excellent and reasonably priced — a rarity that regulars will appreciate. Ambiance can vary depending on the night. At times, the tables feel a bit tightly packed, and the noise level can climb higher than comfortable. This visit, however, was more balanced — the addition of live music created a warm, convivial atmosphere, and conversation flowed easily. Service, unfortunately, remains the restaurant’s weakest link. Our server spoke so quickly that explanations about the menu were rushed and unclear, and attention throughout the meal was uneven. “My husband and I love this place . Everything from the salads, meatballs, pizza, soup is all very good . We travel to AZ very often to watch our daughter play softball. I am very sad and disappointed though. I had a pair of AirPod pros that had fallen out of my purse about a month ago . I didn’t realize this . I pushed the find my device and it said they were at Pomos . Two young men said ohh ya we have them they have been here forever . They descried them to me . I said yes those are mine . Then upon getting them out of the bin discovered they were no longer there . Sad that employees are the only ones with access to lost items therefore it had to be an employee take them . They were a gift from my husband so makes me very sad and disappointed.“

“To start I am going to say that our service was less than stellar from our waitress - she forgot to put our salad in and so we never got it. She did not return to check on us. However, it seemed that she was either new or otherwise occupied or was just not a great service provider to begin with. I will still give this place a 5 star review because everything else was INCREDIBLE! The service received from the hostess was wonderful - she was especially attentive and funny. I had a special dish - tagliatelle with shrimp, mushrooms, tomatoes in a Rosa cream sauce - one of the best dishes I ever had. My husband had the pork raviolis and was equally pleased. We shared a bottle of wine and desserts - affogato and tiramisu. Both were delicious but the tiramisu was exceptional. We have never experienced it served the way it was and we order it out often because it is my husband’s favorite. Overall a superb experience and meaningful since it was a celebration for my husband’s birthday. We are from northeast Pennsylvania but if we are ever back in Scottsdale, this will be on the list for sure. Lastly, we found the prices to be reasonable - another plus!“

They were very accommodating, very knowledgeable about what ingredients they had, how to prevent cross contact, and so much more. I mean, I had to bring my own hot sauce to give my taste buds a little excitement. The pasta was delicious, but a bit of spice would have taken it to the next level. “Nick's is my goto Italian restaurant. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in Scottsdale but Nick's stands out because of the consistency and classic Italian entrees. Their gnocchi is the best I've had outside of Italy. My favorite entrees are the veal picatta, Marcela and parmasean.

Their tiramasu is the best I've had anywhere.“
