“Celebrated our birthday at Uchi and we had a delicious dinner. Service was 10/10 by Justin and the food was absolutely phenomenal we plan to have dinner here once a month from now on. The flavors of every dish were truly out of this world. I highly recommend trying the Hama dish with the Zero dish and using hama chili dish sauce on the Zero Sen roll YUM! Chefs kiss!! 😘“

“Fantastic Thai food. We love eating there and the spice levels are pretty good. We get Thai spicy and it is just right. I have been to Thailand a few time and it is not the level of spice that Thailand has but they do a nice job making it delicious. The sushi there is pretty good as well. Personally I love the Eggplant Shrimp dish. So good!“

“This is one of our favorite spots in the valley for sushi. The food is great and the service is helpful, friendly , and attentive. The happy hour deals are great. One of our favorite dishes is the coconut shrimp, but you can pick anything on the menu and won't be disappointed. The place itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. Highly recommend it.“

“This is a hidden gem. Small staff but they are on it. Nice quiet off the main strip of Old Town Scottsdale. Enters into the Civic Center Park right across from the Performing Arts Center. Perfect for date night with out the arrogance of the bigger Sushi Houses. Mt. Fuji and Flaming Dragon are the bomb. And yes, Miso and spring rolls are perfected.“

“Nice place, relatively good prices compared to other places. The highest priced plate here is just 4, but at most other places the highest plate usually costs 5. But we actually came during happy hour so all the plates were priced lower which was great. Please ask them for those details~ The servers there are all really nice and welcoming too. For the price I think the sushi is good but not the best I’ve tasted. I’d definitely come back though! 🍣“

“This place has been around for over 25 years and it’s still kickin! Very good pricing and the food quality is still up there. The staff is amazingly nice and the menu is huge. Obviously they have all the sushi. But they also have Ramen, udon, katsu, and so much more.“

“We’ve tried a few poke places, and this is our favorite! Fresh ingredients, good portions, a nice variety, and friendly service. Even though other poke restaurants are closer to our house, we keep going to this one. I would have included a picture, but I’ve already finished eating the food.“

“Best Ramen, so delicious! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. Kyle helped my kids open their Japanese sodas and gave them a tutorial on how to use their chopsticks. When my 10-year-old still couldn’t manage the sticks, he brought her a plastic tool to help her practice. The Cut rolls came out fast and were delicious. We had a great experience as a family and will definitely be back!“

“Pretty good place with their take on sushi and other food. Value is much better than most upscale restaurants in Scottsdale. Service was excellent, sometimes it's too many people hovering around you, so a bit more hectic rather than relaxing. Rice in sushi was different from what you get in Japan, not so good. Wine list is pretty good! Overall I think it's worth the money“

“The moment you walk in here, you are met with a very clean restaurant with a very pleasant, chill atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was outstanding! We got two of the Special Rolls (the Phoenix and the OMG) and they were spectacular, and very fresh. We also got Miso Ramen, Takoyaki, fried shrimp and spicy edamame. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had and will definitely make the drive from the northwest Valley to come back here.“

“Our party of four had their lunch specials for $15 each. I loved my bento box with salmon teriyaki, spicy tuna roll, edamame, salad and miso soup. (It also came with rice which I didn't eat.) The spicy tuna roll was really exceptional but all the food was good. There's a decent variety of what you can choose to put in your bento box. Service was attentive. Place was crowded when we got there at 11:30 but we got seats right away. The only difficulty was finding parking. We had to walk pretty far in the 115° weather!“

“Quality of sushi is excellent. Have so many good options to choose from. I tend to stick to sushi, but love all other menu, so try to venture out once in a while. Chef and staffs are professional and have a good vibes. You will not be disappointed as I highly recommend. Just be patient as with good food, wait time can get longer.“

“The food, service, drinks, and décor are fantastic! However, the loud club and rap music was horrible. I am utterly confused about your blatant dismissal regarding the music choices. You claim to not be a traditional tiki bar, yet you are in every single way... except for the music! You call it a "modern twist" (whatever that means) and it just doesn't work with the theme. It's a real shame because the valley is seriously lacking a good tiki bar and you are SO CLOSE to being the best. It's very tragic, honestly. I would spend hundreds of dollars there (again and again), if you just embraced it and went all in with the whole tiki kit and cabooodle. Please enlighten me why ya'll are so dead set on not playing tiki music. Take a poll or do a trial run, see how it's received... something!!“
