“This place is a staple for us anytime we go out to Lake Pleasant. Honestly, even if we are not actually going to the lake, we will still go out of our way to stop here if we are even remotely close. It has become one of those places we just look forward to.
The burgers are great, and the service has always been really good every time we have been in. Everyone we have met there, from the staff to other people stopping in, has always been friendly and easygoing. It has a comfortable, local, lake-day kind of feel that makes you want to come back.
They have plenty of parking for boats and trailers, which makes it so much easier when you are coming from or heading to the lake. They also have outdoor seating, which is nice, but after a hot day out on Lake Pleasant, that cold AC inside feels amazing.
The place has been around for a long time, and you can tell it has a lot of history with the lake crowd. I also like looking at the pictures of all the nice catches over on the bait shop side. It is just a solid, dependable spot with good food, good service, and a great lake atmosphere.“

“I found Benny’s while googling best burgers in Surprise when we moved here 4 years ago. Their burgers are really good, but after I tried the Korean tacos I was hooked. Friendly service, prices are about the “new average “. The fried wings, polish sausage, just about everything I’ve ever tried has been great, and it’s always hot when you get it. The owner is a great guy who takes time to talk to his customers and make sure everything is good. I highly recommend Benny’s Burgers.“

We had a great experience here! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The portion sizes were generous, so I definitely felt like we got our money's worth. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We did wait 45 mins to get sat at a table indoors but it's fathers day that was expected. I'll definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal!“

“We came with a party of 11 and had no problem getting seated even after being almost a half hour past our scheduled reservation time. They were kind enough to hold the table. Our server was excellent and we got all of our orders correct and pretty fast. All of the apps we had were delicious and servings for the main courses were cooked just the way we requested. It was fairly crowded but the noise level was low enough that we had no problems hearing each other from one end of the table to the other. “We signed up for their 4-Course Italian Experience and it was almost perfect. The entrée was a beef tenderloin with creamed spinach, pearl onions and mashed potatoes. The almost perfect was the beef tenderloin... cooked medium well, but chewy and hard to cut, as if it was an inferior cut of meat. That was the very first time I couldn't finish a meal at Black Angus. Otherwise, the three other courses were 100% perfect!!“
