“This place is a staple for us anytime we go out to Lake Pleasant. Honestly, even if we are not actually going to the lake, we will still go out of our way to stop here if we are even remotely close. It has become one of those places we just look forward to.
The burgers are great, and the service has always been really good every time we have been in. Everyone we have met there, from the staff to other people stopping in, has always been friendly and easygoing. It has a comfortable, local, lake-day kind of feel that makes you want to come back.
They have plenty of parking for boats and trailers, which makes it so much easier when you are coming from or heading to the lake. They also have outdoor seating, which is nice, but after a hot day out on Lake Pleasant, that cold AC inside feels amazing.
The place has been around for a long time, and you can tell it has a lot of history with the lake crowd. I also like looking at the pictures of all the nice catches over on the bait shop side. It is just a solid, dependable spot with good food, good service, and a great lake atmosphere.“

“I found Benny’s while googling best burgers in Surprise when we moved here 4 years ago. Their burgers are really good, but after I tried the Korean tacos I was hooked. Friendly service, prices are about the “new average “. The fried wings, polish sausage, just about everything I’ve ever tried has been great, and it’s always hot when you get it. The owner is a great guy who takes time to talk to his customers and make sure everything is good. I highly recommend Benny’s Burgers.“

“Ive found the food to be very consistent at this location! Burgers are always juicy with that crisp edge and the fresh produce on the burger makes a great bite. Their shoestring fries are also consistent unlike most of the competition. Very addicting.“

“The burgers are outstanding. Pricey but quality meat. My bun was a little soggy on the bottom. I was disappointed that they give you a free all American burger for your birthday but in the last year they changed it so you have to eat in. No more take out. If you drink anything besides water then you have the price of the burger. I know times are tough. For 2 burgers it was $40.00. Splurged for my birthday.“

“The food here is delicious but they always take a long time to get it out. Maybe its because it is made fresh all the time but i went through the drive through for a fry and onion ring only. Youd think this might take 5 min to drop in the fryer but i waited over 20 min and wasted my entire lunch break. By the time i got back to work i had no time to eat. Great food just make sure you have time to wait for it.“

“We came with a party of 11 and had no problem getting seated even after being almost a half hour past our scheduled reservation time. They were kind enough to hold the table. Our server was excellent and we got all of our orders correct and pretty fast. All of the apps we had were delicious and servings for the main courses were cooked just the way we requested. It was fairly crowded but the noise level was low enough that we had no problems hearing each other from one end of the table to the other. The bar area has lots of TVs, but they are separate from the main dining area, so we didn’t hear them .“

“Food is 4.5 stars, customer service is meh, waited at counter for 5 minutes in empty restaurant before someone came out of the back. Nice large interior, I was the only customer. Ordered the Double Smashburger which was really good, not the paper thin crunchy style, meat was moist and perfectly seasoned, bun was also good. French Fries were exceptionally delicious. “Really not sure why there is a 3.7 rating. Sure its a bit expensive for a burger joint but you know that going in. This location was clean, friendly, and delivered on the quality. The manager on shift even came to our table to ask if everything was good, which rarely happens at these type of restaurants.“

“Had the opportunity to go to Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers for lunch with my adult son and since the temperature was at 89-90 we sat in the outdoor eating area. Was not hot at all being in the shade. Ordered our specialty burgers and iced tea. The food was hot, frest, tasty and served by a lovely young lady. Took our time and enjoyed the quiet afternoon. The restaurant was busy but not jammed. I had a good waiter her name was hailey she was attentive and quick with our order and very nice but our seat could have been better the children we were seated next to were very noisy and loud but I understand that isn’t her job to control the children if I’m in the area I would love to come again!“

“I don't drink but the food was good, got the Reuben came with a huge amount of good fries. My buddy who did drink had good local beer and some Laphroaig which is always good. But the service was especially quick, soon as I finished my water she got me a new one. He only had an empty glass when he chose. We went on a weeknight when it wasn't too busy“

“Came in at around 10 PM on a quiet Tuesday. They had no server, and one of the cooks was the one doing service.

While we had to place our orders online, as the cooks don't have access to a POS system, we got BETTER service than if we had a normal server.

I didn't get the guys name, but he was genuinely the best server I've ever had at IHOP.

The food came out great, the presentation was great, and the service was great.

This guy deserves a big ol' raise, or a promotion.

We used to come to this IHOP when they opened, around 6 years ago, and the service was always mediocre. We came back to visit the area (moved) and stopped by.

That cook was a goat, and I sympathize with him, as I know what it's like to be screwed over with under-staffing.“

“Don't ever eat fast food as the size of the burger are not worth it in my eyes anymore. But was craving a quick burger. The Stuff here was super Nice and Friendly and the food was decent. She helped me by giving me a coupon so I could get more for my buck. Inside was super Clean and food came hella fast. Very happy with my visit.
