Every dish was a standout. The oysters were fresh and briny, the burrata was creamy perfection, and the Caesar salad—wow. I’ve never seen one so massive or so flavorful, with the perfect crunch and just the right kick. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the carnitas tacos were rich and deeply satisfying, and the chile relleno had that ideal balance of spice, smoke, and softness. And then there was the chicken mole—an absolute knockout. Deep, complex, and unforgettable.

Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully balanced. We couldn’t stop talking about the food all night. Cocina Chiwas nails it—top-tier flavors, stunning presentation, and heart in every bite. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Very beautiful ambiance. My mother and I had just attended together and were dressed in our 50's outfits. We had a delicious meal of salmon. It was prepared perfectly. “Local restaurant exceeded my expectations. Bacon wrapped shrimp and green Chile cornbread were awesome. A little pricy but worth it. You get what you pay for in this case. Service was top notch too.“

“Neighborhood sushi restaurant in a little strip mall. Food is decent versions and fresh ingredients. Only ding is that they don’t offer real crab dishes. They do have fresh wasabi you can ask for (not the paste). Gets crowded at high times. Can be loud also but in off hours, quite pleasant noise level of music and talking. Parking is a challenge in the lot due to the number of businesses and lack of spaces. The service varies but the last several months have had great service.“

We’ve been in twice to celebrate birthdays (both my sons eat here at least 2-4 times a month) and even though they don’t take reservations on Saturday nights, they are always willing and helpful to accommodate our 9-12 person party. “The meal started off with a tasty bowl of miso soup. The shrimp tempura was light and tender, and the edamame was flavorful. The gyoza was delightful, offering a great mix of textures with each bite. The Chicken Katsu Curry was lightly breaded with panko, adding a fusion twist to the dish. The California roll was beautifully simple, while the dragon roll was a delicious mix of shrimp and smoked eel. A cup of green tea rounded out the meal perfectly.“

food: i got the wise-guy pizza. Fresh dough and ingredients. Really yummy.
I also got the seasonal Handmade Mozzarella Salad. Really refreshing even on a winter evening.

I ate this all togo. We were a party of 8 and the wait was about 2 hours long. We didn't want to wait, so we ate this all togo near by. I would love to eat hear inside. The inside looked nice inside.“

“these tacos... wow. Delicious and the margs are FRESH. The only down side is that they are a little expensive, even during happy hour. We intentionally went between 4-6 to get HH at the bar thinking it would help our wallet. There was only 1 Marg on HH - the basic which again was delicious but still $9 when originally i ts $11. There were also only 3 tacos on HH - crispy beef was our fav. We also wanted to try the others but had to pay full price. Korean Fried chicken is a must try! it's tucked in a shopping center so don't miss it!

Service was attentive, friendly and quick, Robert behind the bar is a master at his craft and clearly knows how to make an amazing drink. Heather was also a treat, easy to talk to, gave amazing recommendations and super friendly without being overly in our space.

The coconut marg was super popular the night we were there. The spicy marg they always asked how spicy you wanted it which I appreciate, and my fav was the fresh mint + cucumber (i forget what its called) but wow was it good. These margs are dangerous in the fact that they go down so smooth. Would give it 5 stars if the price was a little better.“

“It's rare that I give a place 5 starts across the board but this was some of the best pizza I've had. I showed up at the right time and was able to get a table inside almost right away...20 minutes later the was a wait. Ordered a few beers and pizza and it was fantastic. I 100% recommend this place if you're in the area and have a craving for pizza.

Parking: Don't park at the giant convention center across the street...parking is just too expensive. There's another parking garage around the corner that much more reasonable.“

“The food is incredible. We had the karaage, grilled eel, and tempura salmon roll. All of it was excellent. The karaage tasted just like it did at my local shop in Japan. The service was also excellent. I can’t believe we’ve been living downtown this long without coming in before today. One thing to know, the sushi rolls are huge. It was actually a little difficult to eat because one piece is more than a polite mouthful, but the proportion of rice to fish and vegetable was perfect.

10/10 we will be back.
