“Delicious rice bowls indeed! Also happy to support a friendly family-owned business like this. They are the epitome of a hole-in-the-wall, but it doesn't matter as they have excellent food and service. I ordered the Bibimbap (Beef), Bulgogi Beef, and Cali Bowl. All were tasty and i would re-order. I enjoyed the Cali Bowl personally (just usually love the ingredients of a cali-roll plus seaweed salad, but theres an argument for each. Will return again and try more bowls!“

“I've frequented here many times now and I have to say its a great little gem hidden by Coscto! Hands down the best chicken burger, they give you a full breast and always fresh!

If you're craving a fried chicken cooked to perfection every time, this is it. It's not your standard greasy oily burger either. Looks to be run by a Korean mom and her kids. You can tell, there's a lot of love put into frying!

It was a shame that there weren't many Korean restaurants near Edmonds, but it's a delicious place that's just right without being salty :) This place is run by the owner of Angel Food, which is famous for its cost-effectiveness and taste in Lougheed! All of the leftovers are delicious, and the ‘Han Sang’ menu is really good value for money (first of all, the taste is basically guaranteed). Although the menu changes every day, it’s a shame that I can’t eat the menu on other days, but I think I’ll come here more often! It's not a review event at all. I really like the owner's food so I wanted to spread the word to many people haha. Please try it at least once.“

“I have wanted to try Korean food other than Korean barbecue, but did not even know where to start. With dietary preferences, we can’t enjoy the multitude of Korean restaurants. With some googling (thank you review community!) we came across #chibop and had such a wonderful Food and sensory experience.

This family owned establishment really caters to an English speaking crowd, with food items well explained on the menu. They have a separate vegan section, which is full of all sorts of goodies.

We had the
1. seafood pancake, which was sublime. sautéed caramelized vegetables and tender seafood coated in a fluffy yet crispy pancake batter.

2. The Japchae was full of bright, just the right size vegetables. Noodles cooked to gooey perfection, and a generous serving.

3. And the Mandu with the sweet, spicy sour sauce were filling and fun to eat.

I enjoyed a white peach soju spritzer with the meal.

The owner Pera and her staff are very friendly and were helpful with our questions around the food.

“It's kinda expensive, but so are the rest of the restaurants. I got the chicken mayo for 16.5 (with tip), and I got a nice portion of food. The taste is okay for its price, but I don't think there're many other better alternatives around SFU. You get what you pay for: A fairly big portion of food with decent taste“

“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. Great food, and I'm glad that my friends know what to order, so I could just let them handle all the availability selection since there was just so much to choose from. And I have heard that the drink menu was bigger than the food menu, i didn't even bother checking it out since I was busy taking videos and photos, lol

“Attention , this place parking lot is dangerous , even on the menu it said breaking glasses , see all the time include me once , only 10 mins you come out your car is smashed and stuff stolen, but it is great restaurant with foods services and stuffs everything , but the area is dangerous“

“Had one of those meals that made you leave feeling happy and satisfied. Came on a Saturday night and the place filled up quickly and the K-pop music made the space lively (our 2.5y/o daughter kept dancing the whole night). Food wait was around 30 minutes, but when it came, everything came! The spicy beef intestine hot pot was awesome if you like organs, very well-seasoned. Everyone loved the seafood pancake, which was very crispy and had a loads of filling. Japchae portion was huge and very tasty. My favorite was the bossom and jokbal (braised pork hock) dish! Super tender, gelatinous and flavorful, highly recommend. The kettle Vanmak makgeoli helped us wash down all that food, which we had to pack half of it to go. Great meal and value, will definitely return!“

Gamjatang was truly the most delicious Korean food I've ever had in Vancouver! The amount is huge!
The stone pot looks really pretty and tastes great, of course.
And the chicken is really the best 👍 They fry it really deliciously ㅜㅜ I heard the table next to me was eating pork cutlet and it looked really delicious.. Next time I will come to eat pork cutlet too.

“Best Korean Mandoo in BC. I've been ordering from them consistently since the business first opened. My kids now refuse to eat any other Mandoos other than from this establishment. Owners are extremely friendly, professional & accommodating, if i can give 10 starts i would.“

“Their soup was alright. Don’t recommend Kimchi soup because there’s only kimchi inside with a very small portion of tofu compared with tofu soup. Usually Korean restaurants offer endless side dishes, but they only let us refill two times despite we were a big group and they only give us 3 small side dish, which is the same portion as two people on the other table. I will not going back again“

“Ordered the half n' half from Chicko Chicken with original and soy garlic boneless chicken. The fries here are pretty good with a nice crispness.

Between the two varieties we tried, I preferred the soy garlic because it had better flavor but both were juicy.“

What’s funnier is that I don’t know if the box is empty or he just takes his Canadian classics, pall malls, or reserve rolls and then uses them to refill this box so he can strategically place them on the table at every Korean resto he goes to.

“Around 4:30pm, without eating all day, I was exploring a new restaurant where offers a fresh small meal for a single person, and Han Ju Tofu Hot Pot caught my eyes and in the meantime the restaurant boss told me to give it a try. I was impressed by his enthusiasm and lovely smile also in the end very impressed by their such taste seafood pot. Very happy I have another favourite restaurant to visit more.“

“This fried chicken restaurant is a delicious paradise! Each piece of fried chicken is crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, the heat is just right, the skin is golden and crisp, and the gravy inside is tender and juicy. The seasoning is very delicious, neither too salty, nor will cover up the delicious chicken itself. Whether it is plain or various flavors of spices, the flavor is very unique, and each bite is memorable. The service in the store is also particularly intimate, the staff are warm and friendly, and the environment is clean and comfortable. This is definitely the best fried chicken place I have ever eaten, highly recommend!“

“The portion of the food is quite sufficient, but the taste is mediocre. If you like Chinese food, it is better to go home and learn to cook it yourself. I feel that no matter how cheap the price is, it will not be more cost-effective than cooking it yourself, or buy a premade microwave-heated version, which is available in this store. The taste should be suitable for a convenience store, most of the food is quite unnecessary to my taste. The seafood noodles taste pretty good, comparable to Soup Master, and the sweet and spicy chicken is pretty good. The texture of the chicken chai is well preserved, allowing me to taste that I'm eating chicken.“
